Hope to God this is true. Surely you have to be 100% sure before making such a statment. It's not like saying that Lee Naylor is coming....and then he doesn't. To be making such a big claim and building up the hopes of thousands of City fans, only to let them down if it is not true, would leave you well and truly exposed, as I'm sure that you can appreciate.
