If you have a look at the Watford forum fans are not very complimentary at least. The vast majority have written very negative comments and it appears many would like to see him leave the club. Well worth a read. Neil Warnock May be able to get the best out of Gray but it appears as though the Watford fans have been very unimpressed with him & have given up on him.

Andre done well for us although this was now three / fours years back, we got him from Luton when they were in the conference and he was meant to be the back up for Scott Hogan who we had also signed from Rochdale but Scott done his ACL about five games into the season and we had to throw Andre into it, he stepped up really well going from conference level to championship is one very big step up, he was strong, mobile, pacy and good at getting into goal scoring positions, he tended to score more "outstanding" goals than straight forward one's, the down side was he would miss 2 out of 3 sitters, he was also injury free which was vital for us, he can be bit of a prat on social media and like but my only doubt would be if he still has the desire, if he does then I think he's not a bad option for you if the price is not to stupid

Agreed. Done nothing to warrant that fee. Just because Watford paid well over what he’s worth, doesn’t mean we should. Thought Tan was going to be more savvy this time around.

I see Wolves are exercising their option to sign Benik Afobe for £12.5M.
Naturally all deals are different but this is probably more of a headline benchmark for Grey. Also,I seem to recall Brighton offering £9M or perhaps more for Ken at the start of last season.
The Gray link has been around for some months now as it was reported Watford had offered him to City.
