I’d like to see Ramsey on loan or even sign him, being a city fan we might have the edge on other clubs other Ramsey.

We wouldn't pay his wages and he won't sign for us.

Moff. wrote:Who do you think the 6 new signings are that neil warnock has said we will need to stay up ?

Going on the good business man that our neil is im assuming we wont be spending big but i think he has mentioned that he knows who he wants already,

Id like too see these

Wayne hennessey (free) gk
Ryan fredericks (free) rb
Joe allen (8-10 million) cm
Tom cairney (10 million) cm
Abel hernandez (free) st

Theres some really good talents going on frees in the prem as well, looking at realistic targets on there what do people think about these ?

Bakory sakho (free) left wing
Yohan cabaye (free) cm

Who would you add/take away etc ?

Hennessy is shite, Fabianski would be miles better !!!

I agree Warnock likes a shake up too, loads in and out but sensible buys

Anyway, can't see us being able to afford Cairney, but where could he go ? He is 27 so in peak CM condition, but not top 6, Everton at best.

it will be really interesting to see which way we go

I don't think the Whittingham analogy applies. Not many could play with him so that excludes Gunnar. I see no reason at all why he couldn't play with a classy CM and Cairney fits the bill at Championship level. Ryan Woods is also a good option. However even if he stays I would expect Gunnar to get less game time in the Premier and I think he would revert to more of a squad player. I would expect to see a quicker version in the first team.

If we want to add quality without breaking the bank and of course remaining in a budget, then my shouts would be:

* Matt Phillips - WBA, can play winger or striker, have pace and skill to unsettle defenders and if the baggies are relegated then I can see him as a potential signing for about £3-4 million

* Adam Davies - Barnsley, Goalkeeper. Called up to the Welsh squad a few times and has potential to be a great keeper, with Barnsley relegated he will be looking to move, free signing or no more than £500k

* Craig Bryson - Derby, Centre Mid. Bags of premier league experience and having spent the second half of the season with city knows the club well. Possible free transfer, no more than £1m

* Ryan Shawcross - Stoke, Central Defender. Was on the brink of the national squad but form seemed to dip, new challenge may be just what he needs, leader on the pitch with great aerial ability, £5-8m

* Will Hughes - Watford, Central Midfielder. Not been a regular this year for the Hornets but a cracking talent, left sides player who can create and score goals. £8-£12m

I’m sure there will be lots of names banded about before any signings are announced, be interesting if any are signed on the back of their World Cup performances, as Warnock said, his job to recruit for next season started after yesterday’s game and I’m confident his list will add to what we already have and make the squad even stronger

Shame his wages would be way too high for us . Would love to see him in a city shirt

I would love to see him play for us and would be the one I broke the bank to get. He has matured and scored plenty for Nice the past couple of seasons and I think Warnock could handle him.

He would be the lastplayer i want to see in a city shirt.

My choices would be:

Ryan Woods
Joe Allen
Sam Johnstone (season loan)
Jay Rodriguez
Matty Phillips
Soloman Rondon
Peter Crouch (perfect for our style as an impact sub)

Think we need one more left back and one more centre back as well, just so we have 2 good left backs competing against each other and 4 good centre backs competing for the 2 positions. I'm happy with Pelts and Jazz competing for our right back position.

Graham Shinnie from Aberdeen absolute quality every time I watch this kid.

Right so the obvious positions we need

2nd choice goalie- Plenty of names available on free transfers such as Hennessy, Hamer,or get a youngster in from the lower leagues or loan someone

RB- My first choice would be Gunter as I think he is massively underrated and would do well in the prem, second choice would be Fredericks from Fulham

2 CM’s- Ryan Woods, Jake Livermore, Joe Allen(doubt he would come but an awesome player), Gareth Barry (old but could help out), Ethan Ampadu( on loan could also fill in at CB), fellani( Unrealistic but out of contract and would suit our play)

Winger- Alireza Jahanbakhsh from AZ in Holland would be an awesome signing really pacey and scores a lot can also play as a CAM , have always rated Redmond and think Warnock could get the best out of him, Snodgrass or even Harry Wilson on loan perhaps an option too

Striker- Rondon, Austin or Nils Petersen from Frieberg would all be good signings IMO

Id love us to sign Joe Allen but I don't see him wanting to come here and would probably go to an established prem team. But id go with -

GK - Dean Henderson = free
RB - Sam Byram = 2m (Warnock gave him his debut at Leeds and was the best full back in the champ 2 years ago)
CB - Joel Ward = free
CM - James Mcarthur = free
CM - Muhamed Besic = 4m (Been amazing in the Boro Midfield)
CM - Ryan Woods = 3m
W - Adama Traore = 10m
W - Oliver Burke = 7m (Player with huge potential, big, strong, fast and was meant to be the next big think when he moved to RP LEIPZIG for 13m. Reminds me of a young Gareth Bale, and could have great sell on value)
ST - Danny Ings = Loan

Aiden Flint from Bristol City

Nathan Redmond (if Southampton go down). Might be too expensive for us though.

I'd imagine we will sign a couple of full backs one for each side - Bennett isn't going to be able to defend against premier league players, I would think at least 1 top striker, a couple of creative midfielders and maybe another winger?
