Around the players areas of the ground by changing rooms/interview area there is a massive print on the wall of the last pitch invasion. Pretty good indicator the club loved every minute of it

Calm down everyone ffs.

How stupid will this thread look if we draw or lose and Fulham win.

We’ve not done anything yet, let’s not look past Reading. Let’s get it done first and what happens later, happens.

I’m nervous as f**k, if you’ve been following City long enough you’ll know we don’t do things easily.

I’m not thinking of celebrating anything yet.

If we do the impossible and beat Reading, do you want to repeat history? and show Sky Sports how big the Bluebirds can throw a party?

I know im daft for saying if we do the impossible but it is true especially with Cardiff out of all the teams.

COME ON AND LET'S SELL OUT OUR LAST GAME :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

Pitch invasion???? :? Really, Sam????

I guess you'll be on first and leading everyone in the Congo with grandad in tow, yeah????

A pitch invasion would be stupid (although I know many won't concur) and I agree with norms76 that we shouldn't be counting our chickens quite yet!

Currently, I'm just happy to be in a position where we have a direct influence over our own success (or otherwise) and we are doing it at home on the last day of the regular season!

I'm actually surprised this topic was made a 'Sticky' if I'm being honest! :(

I'm firmly with Sven and Norms on this. Let's enjoy today's result but there is still so much to do and we have a part to play in that. I don't think anyone getting ahead of themselves has ever done them any favours as it has a nasty habit of biting you squarely on the arse.

Agree 100% with this.

We, more than many other fan bases, know how things can go wrong.

There is still a massive battle to come, and Reading need a result just as much as we do. Far too early to be talking about celebrations.

I can only assume the OP has only been there for our recent years, which have been more successful over the last six to ten years or so.

We can worry about any potential celebrations or commiserations to ourselves once the final whistle has blown.

Talk about jumping gun.

Not really jumping any gun in fairness to him

Reading do have history of spoiling it for us. Will never forget 2011 and their win in Cardiff preventing the biggest every South Wales derby for the play off at Wembley.

Re: PITCH INVASION - IF WE WIN

Well we can hardly take about doing a pitch invasion after the game so makes sense to talk about it now.

Re: PITCH INVASION - IF WE WIN

Well I wont be mainly cause I'm in the upper Ninian and don't fancy breaking my neck. There's a bit of an issue with Reading though. If they're safe its fine. If they need something out of the game and that's within reach, then game needs to run its full course without their players having to think about getting off the pitch. Hopefully Preston and Derby will have done the business for them in the first half.

Do whatever you want to do. I don't want to pour cold water over any ones ideas of celebrating SHOULD WE WIN, but I wonder are the EFL able to dock a team points in the aftermath of a pitch invasion? They certainly didn't back us on the Derby snowgate fiasco. Now I'm not saying we are their least desirable club, but..... ;)

Which is fine but the overall atmosphere and the players in celebrating with the crowd was fantastic... hoping for something similar

Amazing scenes. This time would be even bigger and even better.

Doesn't matter what people say if we win it's going to happen like it or lump it!

Let’s get the win first, then anyone can do what they want. I’ve had done of the best times of my life whilst having a pitch invasion. Shrewsbury when we beat em 2-1. York with Leo’s hatrick. I remember once we were losing against leyton orient and if we lost we were down, we scored 2 goals in 8 mins of injury time, Matt brazier I think it was. It went bonkers in the canton. I’m sure the crowd was about 3750 and 3000 were on the pitch. Lost against Birmingham and got relegated few days later :x

I was loving reading the drama unfold. Who needs Coronation Street when you’ve got such entertainment on Annis’ forum.

When I read the soiled pants reply, I nearly spat my tea out through laughter.
