forget Madine it's gunnarsson who needs dropping our whole game has changed since his return, the midfield Now slows up every attacking opportunity we may have.

I think you are right. We don't seem to have that attacking fluidity when Gunnarson plays, I'm not a fan of his at the moment.

I am a gunnar fan but feel he's been thrown in to quick and his legs are not up to speed.
Just hope we don't do the same when ralls is ready as we will have 2 below 100%.

Unbelievable comments..the guy has just come back from a six month injury..without Ralls next to him who he had a great partnership with and 2 extremely difficult games against Sheffield Utd and Wolves

It's obviously going to take him a few games to get his full fitness and sharpness back

We lose our 1st game in 3 months and according to some on here all of a sudden certain players are shite and not good enough??

Not saying not good enough and certainly not slagging off players. We have been great this season and are far higher up the table than I expected. Just feel AG has been thrown in fast and cannot expect too much off him in the remaining games. I'm proud of the team full stop.

Not nice to hear. There's no getting away from the fact he has been extremely average since arriving, and the penalty miss will not help his confidence. But he could still be our Andy Campbell, a big money striker who went through a rough patch but still came up with a massive goal on the biggest stage of all.

His penalty was not bad at all, the save was excellent.

Forget about it, move on. Exactly what Bamba said after the game. Madine is fine, good that he feels strongly enough about what happened that he was emotional - shows he cares. He’s had a few injuries and looks a bit low on confidence. He’s a handful, play him I say. My mate’s a Bolton fan and they always rated him at this level. He’ll come good I’m sure. I can see Warnock starting Pilks soon, mix it up a bit. Has looked dangerous when he’s come in in last couple of games. Big game Tuesday.

Gunnar only just returned from injury and Grujic had a quiet one the other night. Grujic just 21 remember! It’s a blessing The Ice man is back, a massive positive. The game I watched on Friday had him buzzing around midfield hassling their creative players. He popped up across the entire midfield. We struggled as a team generally to get the wingers into play, esp first half. Their wingbacks held deeper, Jnr was surrounded by 2 of the CBS and tracked by a Wingback. Second half better with Wildshut playing more inside. Poor old Pato got battered and couldn’t make the yards bless him. Apart from Neves’ goal contribution, it was mostly sideways passing from him. It’s nice to have Gunnar back. I’d like to see Gunnar, rallsy and Grujic as a 3. Get behind the boys, it’s been 2 hard games, and Wolves result was just football, it happens.

We do have some numpties amongst our fab case.. yes emotions run high but some people go way above beyond accepatable.. MAdine is giving 100% when he comes on, to be fair to him he is only getting 20 mins here and there.. and last 2ganes when we struggling..
Problem is a lot of our younger fan base have only known good times.. bro g in the Champuonship is an achievement in itself.. one of the hardest divisions in football.
Support the team as a whole..

I know how he feels.

I was almost in tears when he missed that penalty too.

And when Hoilett hit the bar I almost threw all my toys out of my pram!

Nobody said he was shaite, nobody slagged him off, nothing to do with defeat as you say he’s not played for six months. My point exactly, he’s not gonna be up to speed and we can’t afford that luxury during the run in.

Myself and 3 others commented on gunnarson and not one said he was shite.

He is off the pace due to coming back from injury, with 6 games to go fighting tooth and nail for automatic promotion no player off 100% should be chucked in especially when the team were 12 games unbeaten.

Now if you think that is saying he's shite so be it I personally think it's reality.

I would totally agree with you on that one, always have been a Gunner fan But....

Re: BREAKING : “ GARY MADINE “

Will never slate a player for missing a penalty. Can happen to the best of players. He has had a difficult start at City but name me the last striker that has hit the ground running for us ? He will come good we just need to get of his back and back the lad.
And I mean really back him when he comes on.
But he stood up to take that penalty when others didn’t and Holliett. Would of liked to see Pilks or Gunner take them but did they want to take em ? Suppose we will never know.

That's the problem Ralls isn't with him. Gunnarson can't pass or put his foot on the ball so without other midfielders around him who can our midfield is shit. I hope him and bryson don't start together again.

Zahore was pitiful v Wolves don't forget. He has been a major disappointment this season.

As for Madine, what's done is done but he can score penalties. Hs ne versus us at Bolton stole a point off us. He does owe us.

I've seen worse penalties. Andy Campbell v Leeds. Don Murray v Dynamo Berlin. Michael Ricketts v Ipswich. Miller, Gerrard & Gestede v Liverpool.

Even Whittingham missed the odd one.

Its funny isn't it that every time an opposition penalty is take you know they will score but every time City have one, even the ones Ralls has put away this season, there is no confidence they will score.

Correct - Gunnar doesn't suit our gameplay.

Grujic, Ralls & Paterson should be the 3 ( when fit )
With damour in front of Gunnar for me.

I always have been a big fan of Gunnar but I think we've found better now. :bluescarf:
