Assume you think Bryson has been dire because he doesn't play the silky football that Cardiff have proven they can't play. Bryson is exactly what our midfield needs, someone who gets stuck in, similar to Damour. Would like to see Ralls with Damour/Bryson and Paterson in front of them. Grujic is a waste of space, the game passes him by more often than not, but I guess he's on loan from Liverpool so a typical Cardiff fan response is "he must be good".

Or the fact he has been good for us and we haven't lost with him playing.

Should've lost vs Sheff Utd when he was bypassed every time they got the ball. Subbed off at half time vs Ipswich, mistake led to goal vs Brentford, 46% pass completion vs Barnsley (which considering most of his passes are sideways) is abysmal.

Totally agree, he was in the team to close down and did it well.

He gives us energy yes but that wasn't my point. Him and Gunnerson don't suit eachother, especially in the 442 we started with. Neither of them can put a foot on the ball or pass. Great to have a workhorse in midfield but we need ball players too. Although looking at the bench on Fri there wasn't many options.

Thing about these two is that we lose Grujic’ arial ability. Gunnar’s isn’t fully fit and his passing was really off that squandered possession. Bryson can’t be faulted for energy and workrate but his final ball/ threat in the final third has gone missing. I would love to know where Grujic was? Patterson better as #10 but believe he was put in middle to to his heading ability. I wouldn’t have minded Zohore and Madine starting if Patterson forced to defend right flank with Pelts.
