Here’s the early Cardiff City versus Wolves team news then, with both managers facing big calls over central midfielders.

I would be surprised if Gunner plays, he is still working his way back to full match fitness?

Team News
Cardiff may remain unchanged following the last-gasp draw at Sheffield United. Joe Ralls could return after being ruled out since the end of February – he hasn’t featured since the Severnside Derby victory over Bristol City in the Welsh Capital.
Ruben Neves returns from suspension for the visitors. Expect Wolves’ top scorer Jota to lead the line for Espirito’s men.

I think Bamba may go into midfield to man mark Neves, Bruno to centre half and Peltier to stop Calvalero. The weakness is Ruddy who is weak on crosses and set pieces and we need to exploit this.
I am confident we will beat them and maybe catch them for the title but lets just get up.

I agree with you, we are really hard to beat with Bamba protecting the defence, I think that will happen, and it sounds like Ralls will be back, so really looking forward to it.
They should be tired as they recently played a game with nine men for a large part of the game, and have since had one day's less rest than us, playing on Tuesday.

Latest odds
Wolves are slight favourites to win at 6/4, according to Bet 365.
Cardiff are 11/5, the same price as a draw (also 11/5).

Key men
After a quiet night against Sheffield United, Cardiff will be hoping Junior Hoilet t can return to the vintage form he's shown all season on Friday night. The Canadian, along with Kenneth Zohore and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, terrorised Wolves' defence when the Bluebirds won 2-1 at Molineux earlier in the season. He will be cutting in off the left flank to worry Wolves' back three again.
Wolves will be mightily relieved to have midfield maestro Ruben Neves back in their ranks for this one as he returns from suspension. The Portuguese pass master has been a revelation since signing from Porto and is among the nominees for Championship player of the season. Cardiff will be wary of his genius passing range

I rate bamba , has many great qualities but chasing a younger faster more mobile central midfield player is asking for trouble.

HT: Cardiff City 0-0 Wolves
A close half in the end, one that Wolves started really well, but the hosts soon settled and had chances of their own.
It’s anyone’s game.

Fri Apr 06, 2018 8:44 pm
SHOCKING !!!!
Fri Apr 06, 2018 8:44 pm
we deserve to be laughed at
Fri Apr 06, 2018 8:47 pm
We were as good as Wolves but that's the rub of the green that champions have. Gutted but we got enough in us to beat Villa and secure autos
Fri Apr 06, 2018 8:52 pm
Got to score one pen out of two at least.
Shocking penalties madine was awful and junior didn't hit the target.
Im amazed you get what you deserve and we get nothing
Fri Apr 06, 2018 8:52 pm
End of the day we lost to a better team simple as that. I have yet to see what Madine adds to the team.

Didn't think they were that great either to be honest.

How Cardiff missed two pen. This could come back and haunt the club.
Fri Apr 06, 2018 9:13 pm
We definitely lost to the better team. But let's not get down already. There are plenty of positives. We stopped them scoring from open play, baring a miracle for ruddy we would have gotten a draw today, and we are still 5 points clear if fulham who probably will have a tough game tomorrow.

Better to save comments like this if/when we mess up. As it stands we are 5pts clear. As much as i respect your opinion, it's just super negative
