Bristol City were only given less than 1,500 tickets for their game away at Cardiff, they sold out on the first day. They wanted 3,000 tickets, they gave Cardiff over 3,000 tickets at Ashton Gate.

All I will say is when it use to happen to us at away games, our fans use to feel they were picked on and it was totally unfair.

They have not caused riots, a few mindless idiots who were arrested, caught on CCTV and given 5 year bans.

A Sunday 12pm kick, stops a lot of trouble, just by being on that day and time :thumbright:

Totally agree with you annis and I have told one of there supporters whose on my facebook friends list that I cannot understand the decision not to. Give them three thousand tickets I think the reason they have reduced there allocation is because two to three minibuses of bristol fans turned up in canton hours before kick off looking for trouble it was a Friday night kick off the police should have told Sky to leave the fixture to a Saturday three o'clock its a poxy kick off time on a Sunday anyway the big Derbys inthe premier league don't have these problems in there fixtures

Our Fans would want Our Club to do exactly the same :thumbright:

The away allocation for the Robins was reduced by 50% due to evidence produced by South Wales Police to 1,481.

Bristol City are challenging the ticket reduction that followed an SAG meeting, the club have appealed to the EFL.

Bristol City sold their 1,481 tickets in just one day :thumbright:

The two sides met back in early November where City just edged the Bluebirds. Defender Aden Flint headed in the winner at Ashton Gate, in a feisty game where Omar Bogle received a straight red card.

The Robins currently sit sixth in the Sky Bet Championship, while Neil Warnock's side are fourth and three points ahead of Lee Johnson's outfit.

No point in appealing to the EFL - its a Police decision and the EFL can't do anything about that. This is not a decision made by the club, and should not in any way affect our away allocation at Ashton Gate.

The so-called 'fans' (and I doubt they are regular fans) have brought it on themselves by regular outbreaks of public disorder when attending matches in Cardiff. It is because these incidents have affected the general public that their allocation has been reduced, rather than any incident at the ground. However, the fact that there were two large fireworks set off under their part of the Ninian stand last season did their cause no favours either.

If they don't improve this time I can see them being banned completely in future, or the old restrictions being put back in place.
