Re: 5TH CARDIFF CITY SIGNING CONFIRMED / INTERNATIONAL PLAYE

seems very chaotic - i know transfers often involve a degree of brinkmanship, but i make that 3 in and 3 out on deadline day! looks like only madine was 'first choice' and the rest were well down the list but warnock wanted more depth.

traore was released so clearly nottingham don't rate him too highly. it's probably just a case of wanting to get someone in to put pressure on bennett.

Now I'm worried, I actually agree with Tonteg about something. He has never really impressed me from the limited number of times I have watched him live and on TV. Never know though, sometimes a player and a club just seem made for one another, perhaps Cardiff and our style of play will suit him just fine. I expect we will find out soon enough.

Has this been confirmed by the club?

I think most of the Juve appearances were as a sub, and the Arsenal games were as a result of their first and second choice players being out injured. Could argue that he must have had something about him to be at those clubs in the first place. We will soon find out for ourselves.

I liked Fabio and I think you know a lot of fans do but in the current set up he would have no place that's for sure.

Some players do better for certain managers or sets ups. Anyone know how long the contract is?

Well if he makes a mistake on his debut I’m sure you’ll add him to your list of scapegoats even before the ink is dry.
Pathetic.

A good assist apparently. What player doesn’t makes mistakes?
Warnock jumped for him, good enough for me!

I didn't see the game and I haven't watched any of the goals yet. Not sure how bad a mistake it was, but he got an assist for the first goal and we won. Hopefully, Traore had a decent game overall.

Footballs equivalent of an air shot in golf. Not sure if the ball bounced as he was about to kick it. Bad goal to concede, luckily it did'nt matter, it was only Leeds.

On today's performance much prefer him to Bennett.

Good pace, solid in the tackle, decent in the air, comfortable on the ball and a great cross for the first goal.

Just watched the goals. Traore's body position was all wrong and he just stuck a leg out and completely missed it.

Traore's cross for our first goal on the other hand must be the cross of the season.

I think this is what we are going to get from Traore, he's an erratic full back defensively who will make mistakes, but he can get up and down the flank with his pace and give an option going forwards. I was impressed how he battled away before setting up the goal as well. Hopefully, he will take the positives out of today and build on it.
