Not sure if it’s a City problem. January window always seems to be last minute with clubs, agents and players holding out for the best deal they can. Even Man City had to wait until today to sign their big name.

Let’s wait and see what tomorrow brings.

We have to trust the boss, i wasn't fussed on Ward but he looked like our only genuine striker when he got up to speed.

10 championship goals !!!! That's all he has scored but he is a bit of an handful so ticks that box

If he works hard it will be an improvement on Zohore.

If they don't sign anyone I'm not sure if I'll go to future games. Salman and Tan Sri Vincent Tan not taking this promotion seriously like we are

Cardiff City are moving closer in their efforts to sign Bolton Wanderers striker Gary Madine.

The Bluebirds have already failed in two bids for the 27-year-old but are set to return with an improved bid and are confident of landing the frontman.

Madine has scored ten times for the Trotters this season and Wanderers chairman Ken Anderson has said that only an 'exceptional' offer would see him leaving the club.

Cardiff are thought to be upping their highest bid of £1.5million with bonuses for the striker who is under contract under 2019.

The Sun report that Bolton are lining up a move for Feyenoord striker Michiel Kramer as they aim to replace Madine ahead of Friday's night clash with Bristol City.

If we sign him wonder if that will put to bed the Grabban rumour?

I can't see us signing both, but Warnock says he has a few £mill to spend on transfers and wages, so you never know?

A gulf of class between Grabbon and Madine and I know which one I would prefer. Looks like the club are again pinning their hopes on a cheaper option rather than going for quality. Would prefer Zohore to be the main man if Grabban is going to be overlooked.
