MY VIEW:A DIRE GAME & MANY PLAYERS NOT CREATING & CITY JUST

What as happened to playing wide? We play down middle all time poor ken doesn't stand a chance on his own! No crosses into box slow to react and even slower to the ball! Totally different game plan to earlier in season, but can't complain yet? Still in the mix after 3 strait defeats other teams are having good runs and we are still in there so hopefully we come out other side just as other teams falter.

The team was set up to draw tonight imo, the game plan was to get the point stop the rot and maybe breed abit of confidence - it back fired woefully.

Even Preston turned up for the point, the game plan was to bypass our woefully under weighted midfield for our wings, yet everything spent more time in the air than on the ground. The ref didn’t help, and even though he actually blew up he seemed to blow up for EVERYTHING he just didn’t let the game flow at all.

For me two players who need to be hauled off and given the opportunity to work back into form are Zohore and Mendes Laing - they are so out of form, Zohore was lazy and sluggish tonight he hardly seemed up for the fight - Mendes Laing showed why it failed at Wolves, bad decisions everytime he had the ball. Although there was nothing fancy from Feeney he was the better of the starting wingers.

Tomlin got kicked all night and had little to no service due to the wing play - you could see Warnock had told everyone to slow it down from the delays Etheridge, normally quick with his distribution, was making to restart play.

Why oh why does Bogle get left on the bench he’s tenacious hungry and is exactly what we like in a forward, even Healy’s movement was miles on top of Zohore!!

Needs a drastic change ASAP

Preston seemed happy to go for a point, but about halfway through the second half realised how bad we were and pushed forward a bit. It worked.

They made changes and it worked for them. Up until that point I could only see us scoring tbh. We looked dead on our feet at times, which is a worry but also understandable when you see how many injuries there are in the squad....and it is a squad game these days.
