Unfortunately Sven the punishment handed out is not enough to prevent it happening again.

I really do think we as a people have allowed the Liberal thinking to get away with too much of their own thinking.

Sadly, you're not wrong and each generation will get worse as current society do less to stop those in view and the increasingly liberal authorities do less to punish relatively low level stuff like this that allows these neanderthals to go more and more unchecked

Jack, on reflection (and after sleeping) you're probably right on the "happens less" bit but my point remains that the people around them could/should have done/said something at the time. I know I would have and have done in the past

The seats thing was childish .. agreed, but the worst was the one or two 'guys' who had smoke bombs!

The blue one, the guy was holding it in his hand for a couple of minutes and then wondered how he had got taken away when he tried to leave a little early.

However, whoever threw the red one down into the tier below us needs their head seeing to as they would have had no idea who was underneath that and, really, only just cleared the tier meaning he could have hit a fellow City fan!

Actually, the thought processes, tho’ undesirable,were quite clear..kick seat, it breaks. It’s why they didn’t kick a concrete wall, as they must be aware of Newton’s third law.

I witnessed some young thug breaking seats at Chelsea in the FA cup, and throwing them in to our own fans. I challenged him and was then challenged by 'two of or finest' (in their 40s) with threats of 'a kicking' if I didn't wind my neck in. That maybe is why people are reluctant to challenge.................?

Yep totally understand this. People are reluctant due to others opposing your challenge. What I have found though it stay strong and carry it through and those challenging you soon disappear.

I have never forgot my past, but it's time to move on and as you say it's 2017, it's a different world at football

I really don't see what the problem is tho your always gonna have some sort of trouble and to be honest I'd rather a couple of damaged seats than city fans full on rioting or beating up rival fans..

The problem is many on here give every excuse why our support has gone so bad away and I have been saying for the last 5yrs We have No Restrictions and there is No reason why fans can't travel in large numbers

I personally have never damaged property, I see it as cowardly.
Yes I fought like minded lads and No I don't have regrets, I still get skated for it, even though it's over 17 yrs ago. But I did prob less bad in life than the doogoiders, there is No such person whiter than white.

Everyone has skeletons in their closets .

I've always said it the reason why are away support is so shit is because football hooliganism is dead.and I'll admit it's one of the reason I don't go is because there is no entertainment at football games no buzz no kick offs anymore and I know you move with the times but it was the main reason me and so many went away was for a scrap.and it's a reason I and many don't go anymore..

I only ever had one reason to go to a match, and that was to watch the game. I enjoyed a good scrap as well, and had 87 of them to be precise, every one of them in a ring. I still think it takes more guts for someone to face one person in a ring rather than only showing a bit of courage when you have loads of mates behind you. A good way for youngsters to burn off aggression, and there are boxing clubs widely spread around for those who like a fight. You never know, give it a try and if you are really good at it, you may even make some money out of it. (Not you personally, I am sure like me you are a bit too mature now for these sort of things, I am thinking more of our younger generation).
