In short, we were selling out a couple of seasons ago. Blaming rugby is nonsense.

For me it's a day out to let go from the stress of the week
Win, lose or draw. Beers, catching up with people, entertainment on the pitch.

Somehow - ( many reasons harped on about on here) that enjoyment has been taken away and it has affected my habit
Of going to every game.

Now in my 40's with kids adds another factor for impacting the habit.

Me and mate were talking yesterday on train to Merthyr game and both realised we were earning more money in 2001 than we do now!

Money must be a major player nowadays - it's well documented that wages in UK have been stagnant since pre 2008 crash whilst life costs have continued going up

Regional rugby is poorly supported generally so there is a lot of people who support rugby but never go to internationals, you cannot force people to watch football it is a natural thing like you say success will produce the crowds nothing else will. (Except premiership ) :laughing6:

You could put every Rugby club together in Wales and their crowds don't add up to Cardiff City's,Jacks,Newport & wrexham :bluebird: :bluebird:

Wales eggs is 5 times a year.

1.2million live with in 10 miles of Cardiff City.

Bristol,Sheffield,Liverpool,Nottingham etc have two clubs they survive well.

Bradford City, Have Bradford Northern Rugby League.

I could go and on :bluebird: :bluebird:
