My issue is that Cardiff told them to land on the pub and they even told them when to land. It wasn't even supposed to be the Cornwall to start with.
The issue is when clueless idiots start claiming they have no balls or that they are sly.
Have a good weekend too mucca.
With you on that mate as a friend of mine visited your lads when they were in the packet pub wont mention anymore on here but i know that cardiffs lads in the know and who were there well rated villa for turning up an said fair play
You're both as bad as grasses you dull sod
sense at last
And coincidentally, it is only sense once Cardiff's involvement is mentioned.
Prior to that it was the free season to dab Villa lads in it without question.
Talk about double standards.

As you rightly say, the consequences are huge. The purpose of this thread is not to help anyone or to deter anyone. It exists as a damage limitation exercise for people who are really bothered about the "result" more than the impact of the situation.
Given the consequences are huge, I would have thought the interests of those involved would come ahead of the damage limitation brigade. still, you know best.

I do not condone any form of violence, especially pointless violence. However, I do know a couple of the people who were involved and I am shocked that they did what they did. Of course I would like to keep them out of prison if I could. Even Annis stated that he didn't want Cardiff fans arrested - Why would I be different about my fans? Especially a couple who I have a bit of time for.
It is you who is being naive Sven, for many reasons.
Anyway. I'm off out for the rest of the day and night so I'm sure you'll all be glad to see the back of me. Just remember though Sven, I only post in support of my team. You may not agree or like what I say but i don't abuse or insult anyone, I just post an alternative opinion that those with blue tinted glasses on do not always like.

People getting well ahead of themselves if they think anything they've written on this thread to date will be of any legal use! All I've seen is people (who mainly weren't there) puffing their chests out and quoting unnamed sources.
Nubbsy makes the best comment on here so far (and he was there at one point) re the consequences of 'doing your bit in defence of your mates' when the headlines just say "football hooligan". Times really have moved on since the dark days and the consequences of involvement are huge!
The police have done their job (investigated an incident) and now the CPS (not the police) will do theirs by deciding which individuals will be prosecuted and they will only take on the ones they believe they can safely convict. Any prosecution will be based partly on 'cost v conviction likelihood' and an 'example' will likely be made of anyone found guilty (as many good guys found out at Chelsea)

no there is nothing that would stand up in a court of law in this or the previous thread on the topic..
but were there peoples names /nicknames mentioned...was CCTV footage mentioned..fans of our club visiting a pub {which again was named }where Villa were..phone calls...some of this might not have been known to OB.so therefore might give them lines of inquiry they did not previously have.
as for SVENs views on how the criminal justice system works...yes he is spot on..But as YOU and about 99% of our fans know full well that is not how it works if its football related ..whether the authorities admit this or not, the CPS have a total different set of criteria for prosecuting / seeking bans /seeking harsh sentencing for football fans who away from football wouldnt even be arrested let alone charged for the exact same thing...and the police have a different set of criteria for arresting certain people who have come to their attention { often for doing no more than being in the company of others the police deem troublesome }.
they will only take on the ones they can safely convict....no .there is and has been pressure on the police and CPS to get convictions and banning orders even resulting in successful civil cases against men {deemed risk spectators }who committed no actual crimeat all.
