But 30,000 if we play Premier Clubs and then they are welcomed, I prefer if they supported us now, not just come for the opposition in the Premier Division. Support your local club Cardiff City, No matter who we play :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Agree with you but it's not going to happen.Im starting to get to the point where I wish the club would stop doing these £5 offers.
You either want to be there or you don't,and if you want to be there then pay the going rate!
Sorry if sounds a bit negative but we just don't seem to have the fan base that actually want to go and watch City live.
Sad but true .

I grew up believing we were a massive club and believed all we needed was success on the pitch and we would be up there with the big boys,I actually honestly believed it,but over the last few years, I have prob been sadly proven wrong.

no you havent Annis..
my view is that your seeing success as being a top half championship team..where as real success is top half prem.
we are in a division where 18 teams have played more premiership football than ourselves. with many having finished high enough to play in Europe.you cant compare this to 1 promtion followed by a relegation over the last 50 years
be patient and keep the faith. :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

It's a Saturday, not live on tv, pay on the day :thumbright:

I paid £18 for me and £5 for my daughter in the Ninian Stand :thumbright: :bluebird:

Surely a 25,000 Crowd :thumbright: :thumbright:

We are quarter of the way through the season and Cardiff City Stand Proudly at the Top of The Championship :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird:

WE COULD OF ONLY DREAMED OF US BEING TOP/ BUT ITS TRUE & IN BLUE :bluebird: :bluebird:

Prices are back up so likely see around 20k max again. It's poor, especially considering we have flexi ticket deals. Maybe see more with half season tickets going on sale. Good to see you'll be back though Annis, hope it's a good game for you :ayatollah:

Cheers Tom :thumbright: I booked another couple of flights today, so booked up right up to including Reading home on final game of the season on Sunday Cardiff v Reading, although I don't like Sunday games in Uk as won't see my Children all weekend. So hopefully not many more of them as My Children come first.

Prices are very cheap anyway, last night they were virtually given away and No club can sustain that. City fans paid £30 and £50 in Premier, so poor excuse.

Yes hopefully Xmas half season tickets go well :thumbright: :bluebird:

Sounds great mate, hopefully a promotion party for you then

The £5 deal is amazing. I just don't think the Championship is attractive enough at the moment to pay anything more than £20. Towards the end of the season we'll probably pull more if we're in the mix...plastics :old:

People will only pay for Premier football unfortunately, fickle fans !

I really hope it is Thomas and I have not got to fly back for the play-offs.

Newport County in Div 4 pay £20.

I believe Cardiff City have done everything in their power to attract the fans back, now its up to the South Wales public to support them :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

I hate the play offs! NW will just have to sort automatic promotion out for us :ayatollah:

And they pull an average of 2,861 in a 7,850 seater stadium. I don't think it's bad value for money at all and to be honest people should've bought season tickets anyway due to how cheap they were - there was even finance options available! Unfortunately people didn't do that because we didn't spend much money on players probably, but I'd have done it just for a Neil Warnock team to be honest :thumbright:

Thomas,
Neil Warnock, feeds of support, he thrives on it and we as fans can really back him :thumbright: :thumbright:

Play-offs always worry me.

City are Great Value for money :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

After years and years of the dungeon leagues,9yrs.

Years of relegations.

For me 4 Wembley appearances, Promotion from three divisions, Running away with the Championship, only one relegation in the last 17 years, yes it feels like success :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Remember if your on about winning trophies thats virtually limited to half a dozen clubs.

We use to get relegated 2 in every three years, now one in 17 years for me is fantastic and No fear of relegation :thumbright: :thumbright:

Ninian Park, red shirts are all in the past.Things change, things become outdated and people make mistakes. We all loved NP we all loved Super Kev but things move on.How many lives have been lost in older stadiums?I wonder how many ex NP stay aways have mobile phones, smart tv's and safe cars.If they still walk to the corner to use the phone box, drive an Anglia and have never been on a plane I can see where they are coming from . i know its better.. but seriously its not been great..
not being relegated to lge1 isnt success..
all those years, 18 of them in the lower leagues with quite a few bottom half finishes in this divisoion tacked on..killed us..
killed me...had to watch boys my age swan off to watch leeds or man u...now their kids follow those clubs too..
20 years ago sat on the bob bank with my kids..if youd told me 20k and top of this division id have bitten your hand off.

Darren, I honestly would be shocked if it was that low and very dissapointed.

I can't see why it should be, other clubs in our possition would be packed to the rafters.

Annis I will be very disappointed if we only get 18,500 on Saturday. But going recent attendances I can't see it being much more. Really hope I'm wrong, it's time for the fans to turn up in big numbers and get behind the team.

Darren, If we really got that low a crowd then, we really have more glory/Premier fans than I thought than actual Cardiff fans.

It is time to turn out for Neil Warnocks Bluebirds :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Not a dig but why do you bang on about the crowd numbers so much ? what will be will be our average is 20k this season which is great

As I have said before Wez and repeated many many times as you know, I have studied crowds since a kid and love them, the stats etc.
If your not interested don't let it bother you and just don't read them, in fact all I am doing is building the games up and hoping for bigger crowds down there.

But I would love City to get bigger crowds and the more there, the more atmosphere, more behind the team and the rest of the Country looks up at us.

Last night I was in a pub in Santa Ponsa, full of different fans including Leeds fans and everyone praised our crowd, that felt good :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

WEZ, EVEN NEIL WARNOCK GOES ON ABOUT FANS/SUPPORT EVERY WEEK :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:[/quote

Have to agree with Wez here. Do you not see the irony in this? You keep talking about crowds but are not there for every game yourself anymore? Whether you live abroad or next door to the stadium everyone is different and everyone has their own reasons for being able to attend/not attend. Circumstances change for people just like they have for you and not every single Cardiff supporter in the world can make every single game (two examples in posts above; holidays and money, and there's plenty more like kids/work/travel etc). As said by others, we are up on our average at the moment so surely that's a good thing and our fans should be praised? Tired of seeing all this passive-aggressive stuff about we should do this because another club in a lower league did that. I'm sure everyone would be there every week if there were no other mitigating circumstances in their lives but it just isn't always possible, as you now know as you're watching our home games on Sky!

All that's been said is everybody's personal opinions, they're entitled to them.

I think we should get on with it, keep it positive and get behind the club, keep the negatives to a minimum and enjoy what we have achieved "so far" this season. Warnock and the boys are doing great, the atmosphere at CCS is getting better and the numbers are turning out in force. For the fans that want to keep talking about why they don't want to come down anymore, let them crack-on and HOPEFULLY we can attract the new fans who do want to be there, week in, week out...!

Fair play to Annis, shoots over from Spain at every opportunity :ayatollah:

KEEP IT POSITIVE AND LETS GET PROMOTED! :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

I remember all that with the phone! My grandmother even had a lock on hers!

When I started work, they had a book to register all calls made. You had to have permission from the Guv'nor to use it under ANY circumstances and woe betide anyone if the bill came and a call hadn't been 'approved'!

Attendance 18,480. Ebbw only out by 20.

Can't understand why people thought it would be over 20k.
