Wayne, the £12million people speak of is nothing to do with the Langston loan note.

Question to you Carl were those quotes correct?
Daya I was not quoted in the Echo nor did I read the quotes, but I have to believe those quotes are in there otherwise you would not mention them but who are the quotes from ?
Equally that still does not mean that Sam Hammam has told TG or anybody else for that matter that he has £12million to invest. Dont want to sound upitty ( sp ) but I dont believe that this figure was mentioned between Sam and TG.

Here's a story from the Echo
http://tinyurl.com/2u89ebx
in which Terry Phillips says;
"Hammam insists he is prepared to invest ‘substantial millions’ into the football club, thought to be up to £12m"
Annis is also quoted in this piece saying "But he is prepared to invest substantial millions" about Hammam's possible return to the club and the same quote from Annis appears here

I see Sam is quoted as having created "more than £100m of assets" for the club during his time here.
It is that kind of fantasy that worries the hell out of me that he might ever be involved in the club again in future.

A 10 or 20 million investment could well see us promoted (i reckon it would for most clubs in this league mind as its always tight), no outstanding team or teams this season I'd say. If TG is looking for a football man then Sam could be the man, as long as he stays away from the finance side which i am sure he would then why not? No more langston debt? Pay off PMG (the leeches) and we may start to progress....be a right shame for this season to be a nothing season, which lets face it, its looking like.
