Spot on. Those who turned up once in a blue moon for big cup ties, the Jacks or promotion parties might have witnessed NP at it's best but for the most it part it was more dead than CCS is now.

The truth hurts but if we want to solve this then we must tackle the elephant in the room so to speak. The only thing to survive from NP is the fans the same ones which made the atmosphere crap 90% of the time there. We are the Peter Whittingham's of club football fans brilliant beyond our capability on our day, but go missing for 4 out of 5 games. Even when we score we aren't that good, there will be one loud chant on Laaaaaaa City! and then total silence as no-one knows what to follow it up with.

What is missing is the passion which comes shining through in droves when we are on our game, along with some new novel songs (can't remember the last one which wasn't nicked off another club). Whatever the reason for this lack of passion (and I'm sure there are loads of theories) it is time for a group of fans to get hold of the problem and start injecting some. Being top of the league with 5 wins out of 5 seems like a great time start.

Again, absolutely right.
Regarding the "missing passion", is it really too difficult to rectify? For example, didn't Crystal Palace have a similar fan based problem a few years ago, until a group of their fans got together & started up that "Ultra" stuff???

Good point we really need an 'Ultra' style fan group to inject some missing passion back into CCS.

i agree maybe a meet up point to spark the atmosphere before the game for instance the ninian pub was a great place to get the fans going after it got closed down it had a effect on how in touch the fans in the same stands were

It's already underway in the Canton Hotel, although I wouldn't call us ultras. We're a bunch of middle aged men and women singing old and newly thought up Cardiff City songs over a few pints, trying to generate a pre match atmosphere. Come and join the revolution, introduce yourself and unite the clans :occasion5:

I'll try and catch you lot down the Canton Hotel on a home game. In the meantime I've got a great song for Zohore for you to try out. I'll send it later.

The revolution is already underway and our numbers are growing slowly. Come and join us in the Canton Hotel (near the Ivor Davies in Canton area) for a pre match singalong and/or at the back of block 103 in the Canton Stand for the Sheffield Wednesday game.

We're not exactly ultras, more a mixed group who love a bit of an atmosphere before and during the game. The Canton Hotel was bouncing prior to the QPR match.

I didn't think my earlier message had been sent, hence a very similar second message that you can ignore. Bloody technology!

Just come over and introduce yourself, it'd be great to have you on board.

I'd love to hear this Zohore song you mentioned, as our attempt hasn't taken off.

"You can't handle Zohore!"

Hi, it's one me and my mates are trying to get going.

It's to the tune of "Volare" which Dean Martin used to sing and you'd get a flavour of it on YouTube.

The lyrics are:

Zohore, oh oh
Zohore, oh oh oh oh

He's fast, he's right up your ass,
His silky skills you'll never surpass

Zohore, oh oh
Zohore, oh oh oh oh

He's big he's fit and he's strong
He's classy and sassy and long

Zohore, oh oh
Zohore, oh oh oh oh

He'll hound you and pound you, I think he'll astound you
Whenever he nears your goal,
He's quick and he's slick and he'll use every trick as he rips out your heart and your soul.

Zohore, oh oh
Zohore, oh oh oh oh
Zohore, oh oh
Zohore, oh oh oh oh
