Once again walesonline is trying to split the fanbase because they haven't got nothing genuine to report on so resort to the cheap option.Imo we fans should all agree on supporting the team and not the regime and turn our full attention to getting behind the team and talking 100% about football, it's looking very promising for a good season and the very least the team and management deserve is our full support. :old: :bluebird:

Perhaps if Mr Tan bought everyone an ice cream all would be OK or a Red top

Not many people hated the rebrand more then me but I got no problem with Tan now though.

It's the 'it's if you don't want to be part of it 'just clear off' comments from fellow fans at the time I can't forget.

Re: ' Fans forgiven Tan ? '

I have forgiven Tan I did not like the red like many However I do not need a verbal apology I think his actions speak louder than any apology He is walking the walk now . We all would have come across people who would say sorry but their actions say different
Think of Sams actions I know who I would prefer

What the op says is right for me red scarf was my all time lowest i hated all those city fans that ivd loved since a kid .
I hated promotion i actually shouted abuse to tan the night we got promoted.
I remember a friend saying ffs Justin we are in the prem this has to make you happy. No it didnt.
I would wait outside for tan to let him no how i gelt .i went on radio and the echo marches and anything i could to get my point across .
The worswd was games i always went with my kids proudly in blue always to be told by other city fans let it Justin its 100m.
Pain pain pain but i kept going because i loved ccfc and wasnt going down with out fighting for my club.

We one doesn't matter how or why we one.
The only thing we don't have is the proper badge but i sort of live with it as it represents us better than the beer mat.
Ill never truly forgive Tan for years of pain but for the same reason i fought in the first place ill move on for ccfc the club i love.
It feels like us again now it feels right my passion is back and thats good enough for me.
Would i sit down and eat curry with Tan NO.

Sorry but "pain" and "fighting" belong in a context over and above the change of club colours. If you're fighting illness that's causing you severe pain I can relate to that. But the rebrand whilst understandably unpopular was not life threatening nor as it transpired irreversible. And as for hating promotion, really ?!

Tan puts money into the club in the form of loans, with 6% interest.
When he sells the club he'll want it all back.
We now have a great manager and squad and I'm looking to the future with excitement.

6% interest????? Think that bullshit you do know that hes written off over 50 million already of his loans ? Take alook at the accounts

Forgiveness absolutely the rebrand was so hard for me to personally take! Likened to a loved one dying!

But the reversal back to blue has helped! Forgiveness yes never forgotten!

Everything right now is positive including the ownership of the club! Feels like we should follow Wales moto! Together stronger

Obviously if we care about the club and it's identity we will never forget it!

I am a very positive person and I like to think it only highlights the importance of our identity but we have it back now. :bluebird:

This was the main problem... the Premier League is not the be all and end all of football.

I have not forgiven Tan; I don't understand how you can forgive someone without an apology!? And he did know how we'd react as there was a massive backlash when it first surfaced about the colour change and the other guy (I forget his name... Dato Chan??) released a statement saying that they didn't realise the effect it would have so they weren't going through with it. He "leaves" the club and we turn out in red. Tan knew exactly how we'd feel but did it anyway and managed to buy a lot of fans' silence with a cheap scarf.

sums it up....
some bird that although feels shameful over her silence and non action at the time.
but still wants to blame some one else.

bottom line is had people taken up the clubs offer to refund ST money in large numbers..emailed/wrote letters of protest in large numbers..and actually protested from day 1 in large numbers it would never have happened.
i did none of the above.
i just made a point of wearing blue..which although was very little was still a damn sight more than some of the PLASTIC blues who did zero then..but want to give it big now.

Time for you ALL to grow up. I agree the rebranding was a disaster but to be fair to Tan he saw the error of his ways and returned to Blue. He has sacked crap managers and appointed a manager who knows how to run a club and team. I am sure if it were not for Tan Cardiff would have gone to the wall and this message board would not exist, so come on give it a rest and support the club and team. :banghead:

This is a myth that has somehow been repeated so often its slowly becoming truth.

For many it wasnt a case of accepting red in exchange for Premjer league glory, it was a case of reluctantly accepting red because there were no other investors on the horizon and hadnt been for a long time and we were in so much financial trouble if one of the many winding up orders we faced was acted upon it could have meant liquidation - not administration where we would have faced a fine and docking points but complete stripping of all assets with no more CCFC.

Very few liked it - but some accepted it was the lesser of two evils.

Also if we were liquadated and had ro start from scratch then the the FA granting us a welsh club access to the English pyramid system was far from guaranteed so even if we did a Wimbledon and formed a phoenix club it may well have been in the LoW.

The choice between accepting red for the sake of fifteen minutes in the sun is very different to a choice of a CCFC in red being preferable to no CCFC at all - which is actually a better description of the situation.

Thats what always annoyed me avout this rather be blue in league two bollocks. That really wasnt an option without Tans money we could well have be battling with TNS and Rhyl rather than Torquay and Rochdale.
