Totally agree, although inconsistent is worth £1m in today's market.
Club seem to have a habit of selling players on the very cheap E.g. McCormack, Gestede and they then go on to be transferred for huge sums by the buying clubs. Players don't go from peanuts to 12m in a short space of time.
