Ffs he was facing his goal 6yds out when ball was put across instead of heading it he stuck out a leg brilliant finish!

He played half decent at Burton, but with 2 centre backs either side of him and Gunnarsson sat in front, he was well protected. I haven't seen the goal, but I'm hoping it was just bad luck and not yet another one of his mistakes.

Yes they do but normally it's in a last ditch bid to stop the ball! But this was unnecessary as easier to head away rather than stick his leg 4ft in air while facing his own goal in middle of the goal!

City generally having the upper hand but not toouch to shout about. Mendez-Laing looking the part and unlucky not to score from close in as I type

Which won't be a bad thing at all. He's solid, no nonsense, dependable, streetwise, versatile and a very important squad player. I have yet to see Halford let an opponent get the better of him.

He can chip in with the odd goal too.
