I have complimented Cardiff as a City in almost every possible way on this thread. It is probably up there with my favourite UK cities.... So yes clearly hit a nerve :D

It was a football match (and a bloody good one). But as I stated, if you expect the world to be proud of your mate, the people for acting like normal humans to foreigners and the perfectly capable City for hosting the match arranged by UEFA (as places do every single year) then you are deluded.

Nothing more nothing less. It was a good night, take it for what it was and enjoy it. Bon Soire :laughing6:

It can hold the World Cup for all I care, still wouldnt be proud of a City I am not from.

To be fair, all three of the major South Wales coastal cities have held huge events in recent years, and done a decent job of it: Cardiff, Newport and Swansea.
