After watching the Q & A from last night if I hadn't voted and would now vote Labour and this time for both Jeremy Corbyn and Wayne David. In my opinion on the performances last night JC was head and shoulders above the TM, Why?, because he came across as more personable, more likeable and most importantly more sincere.

One of the most telling points from last night was the difference between the two on Brexit, JC stressed the importance to the Country of still having tariff free access to the EU whilst TM offered only the soundbites we all expect, "Brexit Means Brexit" and "No Deal is Better Than A Bad Deal". Tariff free access to the EU WILL mean the UK accepting the ' Free Movement Of People' and WILL require the UK to continue to pay into the EU budget. TM on the other hand doesn't say anything other than the Two soundbites so we have absolutely no idea what that means, more worrying in my opinion is that she doesn't know either.

I don't agree with everything that JC does or says but I found myself coming down on his side on most everything discussed, Bexit aside, he gave a vision for a more Fair & Equal society for the UK and one I'm glad I have voted for.

TM started this election hoping to get a landslide victory but, and against most peoples expectations, JC is making a real fist of this campaign and I think it will closer than we think. TM will probably still win but a couple more performances like last night and who knows.

She is absolutely shit. She has the intellect of a 5 year old and is basically just a (very poor) actor. How could anyone in their right mind be taken in by this duplicitous crone?

Typical hatred from an extreme left wing bigot

Do you even know the meaning of the word bigot?

Every single political post you make is insulting, demeaning and patronising toward anyone who holds a different view to yourself.

You are the definition of the word bigot.

As a lot of you know, I'm keen to see Labour win this election. That would be my view whether Corbyn was leader or not. I like the policies, they would benefit me and my family far more than any other party's policies and I generally think the vast majority of people would benefit more from their policies.

As the author Irvine Welsh said, if you're struggling in life then vote for someone who can help you. If you're doing alright for yourself in life then vote for someone that can help others in need.

Regarding this televised interview, it wound me up. I did think Corbyn performed better over May. It's not surprising. Corbyn has kept sharp by being exposed to these questions throughout the campaign. May has hidden away and was, to be kind, rusty. It's her own fault. Even the most committed Tories are having to admit Corbyn performed far better on the night. He was composed and calm. He answered the questions. May was unsure of herself, nervous, and failed to answer so many questions. I'd love to see a transcript of the interviews.

However, the thing that got me was how each leader was asked completely different questions. Why was Corbyn quizzed on the IRA but May wasn't quizzed on Saudi Arabia? I also think it was a bit silly having a self-confessed one nation Tory in Jeremy Paxman doing the interviewing. His bias was clear by the way he hardly gave Corbyn a chance to speak yet gave May all the time in the world. Gave her easy topics to talk about too. Both leaders should have been asked the same questions on the topics that matter. Brexit, NHS, social care, education, and the economy.

I'm annoyed that the two haven't gone head-to-head. Face-to-face.

Anyway, we are all here saying this and saying that. We have elections so the people can speak. I say it time and time again. The fact someone votes one party or another doesn't get to me. I respect that. Even if some views are obscenely nonsensical. That said, at least you'll turn up and vote. Those that don't vote should be ashamed.

Also, and this goes to both sides, let's cut out the name-calling and vitriol. It's tiring. I actually find it interesting to see why certain people are voting a certain way. In some cases it's made me understand why they vote. In others it just makes me even more bemused. It's all listening and understanding though. I think we could all learn a bit more by talking about it all a bit more reasonably.

I agree with you. When someone posts a thought out reply to a previous comment, and an explanation as to why they agree or disagree, I read the post, and while I may not agree with their opinion, I respect the fact that they have their reason for forming that opinion. I barely glance at the posters on here who's total contribution to a discussion stretches as far as being able to come out with quotes like Corbyn is an idiot or May is a bitch. To me they just show a complete lack of intelligence, and are not worth even debating with. There are a few on here who are simply trolling and looking for bites. You always put up a decent argument as to why you intend voting Labour, and while I don't agree with a lot of your points, I find your posts far more interesting than those who offer nothing other than insults without explaining their reasons for the name calling.
