He may not have an offer on the table at the moment but, as Welsh Patriot saud, there was a contract offered to Witts that he did not sign and it then got withdrawn.

I don't know if you're right Wayne because I don't know the exact circumstances, however in a Q&A in Caerphilly last month at that time Warnock said he had made Whittingham an offer which he had not yet accepted but that due to financial constraints Warnock had to withdraw the offer so that he could reconsider it at the end of the season.

To be honest all this primadonna stuff of some players thinking they are better and worth more than their team mates gets right up my nose. They should be grateful they're not shoveling mud with a teaspoon for a bare living.

the last sentence is mind blowing stuff.
lets recruit players that dont think they should earn more, despite paying quite large fees. and despite the fact that they know they are being signed to IMPROVE the team.
football has not worked like that since old etonians last won the cup.

Mind blowing stuff indeed! Well why not let us start the process and get some reality back, and this goes beyond football. All these pampered primadonnas are taking the piss out of the rest of us. The endless spiralling of wages is strangling football, particularly in this country. It needs a major overhaul and I've only got utter contempt for status and greed I'm afraid.

Allan, Those were Neil Warnocks own words.

I wouldnt give whits or any squad player over 10 k aweek same people saying we should give him more are moaning that our wage bill is too high ,i trust warnock to make the right call ,i think the days of average players getting top championship/lower premiership wages have gone at cardiff which i think is a good thing
