Re: ' HOW BAD IT REALLY IS FOR NEIL WARNOCK '

NW knows the situation as he's stated it on numerous occasions ! I don't think he thought it imperative to bring people in January as it would have waisted funds for the summer knowing full well the restrictions of ffp? People in this thread are acting as if ffp doesn't exist despite us having embargo last season, yes we've waisted money on players but that was in past before NW , it doesn't mean club is using ffp now as reason not to sign players as being suggested, there is lots of wealng and dealing to be done before start next season but NW believes he is being backed and will accomplish his aims regarding players coming in otherwise he would be walking end season.

48 points will keep us in the Championship next season Rick - Trust me. ;)

Agreed, we are probably okay, but Peterborough went down with 54 points, and Wolves with 51, a couple of seasons ago. Best to get Rick's three wins asap, to avoid any nervousness in the last few games.

But that was the exception in the last 9 seasons. The question is what is the next lowest points total to be safe besides that season - 48 points to beat 3rd bottom Seffield Wednesday. After that you can go as low as 41 points.

Where will we finish who knows but I really cannot believe that 2 teams are going to overhaul us to drop us into the relegation zone again. Obviously Rotherham cannot catch us even if the win all their remaining games.

We need to beat Ipswich next Saturday, that's for sure. After that, for most of the remaining eight games, we have a mix of promotion & relegation contenders; Wolves (A) Sheffield W (A) Forest (H) Wigan (A) Newcastle (H) & lastly Huddersfield (A).
,

I agree we need to beat Ipswich but only because NW will want to finish as high as we can. Rotherham cannot catch us even if they win all their remaining games, Wigan need to win 5 games to pass us and out of their 9 remaining games they have Villa, Newcastle, Ipswich, Barnsley, Brighton, Cardiff, Reading and Leeds. I also think Forest will be joining Rotherham & Wigan.

Time to relax and enjoy NW trying out new ideas over our last 9 games.

Gareth, I personally believe the same, but if I said it first I would be savaged by the usual suspects

So is it our owner not backing Warnock
Or are you saying they can't back him becouse of ffp
Becouse if it's ffp we can't knock the owners
If it's ffp we need to get more money in
Season tickets,sponsorship ,advertising ,merchandising, etc
Season tickets and merchandising is down to the fans
Sponsorship and advertising is down to the club
However would you advertise or sponsor a club who's fans constantly moan about anything and everything

i havnt knocked the owners ???

I would have torn someones hand off for 21st place before Warnock came, we are much better but clearly running out of steam, theres not a whole lot he can do at the moment. Rotherham are gone, wigan pretty much and thers quite a lost of teams worse then us in this league. We will be fine

No not knocked them but you are saying club is only saying backing NW but they know ffp won't allow them to do so? In other words club is deceiving fans and NW just to get people to buy season tickets knowing NW won't get money he wants.! And still people pretend ffp is used by club as exuse not to back NW

True fans will attend even if Warnock is not given a penny. I feel it could go either way in the summer in regards to transfer and wage budgets

Long way to go lots of ifs and buts regarding in & outs of players, NW says he knows the score regarding ffp so must take it he knows what is required to be done before next season ?

The fact that Warnock was employed in the first place shows Our owners are learning from past mistakes. You just never know what is going to happen at Cardiff city though, I fully expect "silly season" in the summer will be more a rollercoaster ride then usual for us.
