No other way to put it get off your backsides no point staying at home moaning about tan if we start getting attendances of 20 + thousand at the home games and being the 12th man again will lift this team who seem to give their all for the shirt now we have not seen that for a long time

Season ticket holders have helped the club promote discounts in the past few seasons by purchasing tickets for £10 or even free to give to friends and boost interest in the club. I have NEVER hounded a non-season ticket holder for attending on the back of a promotional discount and I don't know of any other season ticket holder who has done so either.

Cardiff 'FANS' are already backing our Club, we are averaging 16,000 at home at mid-table in the Championship, one of the highest averages we have ever had whilst at this place in the League in this division.

Cardiff 'FANS' are backing the manager by taking almost 1,500 fans to QPR for a nothing game.

It's not the fans they need to be targeting its the South Wales Public that are NOT fans yet, they need to do this with a well thought out, strategic marketing campaign aimed at making people WANT to come down and support Cardiff.

I am afraid the appointment of Neil Warnock, whilst great to US, the FANS, isn't necessarily going to attract a load of the South Wales 'eventists' back down the City and the price freeze is only relevant to those who bought one last year so it will be very interesting to see what the prices are going to be.

Not sure where you got £249 in the Ninian Stand either Annis, was £369 last year mate

I'm a season ticket holder and I can see no insulting inference in what NW has said :? To me it is a call to arms in NW's honest to the point Yorkshire way and I simply love his style  Finding fault for the sake of it is not helpful so I would suggest you start looking at things from a cup half full perspective rather than a cup half empty one.

I think if you watched his interview and listened to everything he actually said I'm sure your "Perspective" on this quote would be different.

NW was giving an answer to a question and he basically said that the club after a period of instability off the field was now settling down and he felt there was a great feeling around the club. He mentioned everyone involved at the club from Owner, Staff, Players and FANS and described them ALL as GREAT.

His get off your backsides quote was completely tongue in cheek and it was nothing more than a "Call To Arms". He finished by saying the more ST that are sold the more the club will understand where is stands in terms of next seasons budget.

That makes complete sense to me as I'm sure it would to the vast majority of fans, Season Ticket holders or not.

with Warnock here for the next year and perhaps beyond that plus the fact that next season we could finish on a real high or at least with having a go at the play offs win or lose - I really hope that we can sell a good number of season tickets as the more the better and will help the club with finances and atmosphere - not to mention the players and sales etc! It would be great to see 20k plus attendances next season and I guess much of that will depend on how successful we are in the first month or two! If we are up in the top 6 come next Xmas and are looking good I can see our attendees being 24-25k. If we are in the top 6 come March next year 26-27k!

Possibly yeah, my point is though that the call is aimed at the wrong people really, as the fans are already doing their bit, he's basically asking people who don't really care about Cardiff City unless they are in the Premier League to get off their backsides, they never have before so I can't see how that tactic is going to work with them tbh, a good, well thought out marketing campaign with attractive ticket prices is more of an incentive than a 'get of your arse' call imo

I think you have clearly misinterpreted the posters intention. That said, I think personal insults to a another forum member does you no favours what so ever. It's a shame as you actually put out some debatable content.

I don't come on here to make friend's or for pat's on the back for my content either tbh. I can take or leave this message board, no problem at all.

What you do,in the street is up you and if somebody in the street annoys you at least you can see that person face to face before deciding what to do.

On line is different as we don't know who we are actually talking to, that's why it's more cutting and possibly hurtful.

just saying how I read your message. Hope that helps
