Maybe dumb idea but principle is sound mustn't forget it's not a one way St with us leaving Europe? Plenty of countries will lose our massively by our exit car makers like citreon amongst them Brexit effects all of Europe not just us !

Brexit was a disaster for Ford Bridgend
The writing is on the wall....It will be moved to a country within the European union
Companies have been taking jobs from the UK before brexit was even a word. The good old EU done nothing to prevent it!
Good old UK done nothing to prevent it either. What makes you think they will save anything now? Tata got "saved" by the workers taking a pension cut... but not securing jobs for the future. 12 months time Port Talbot is set to cut more than 1000 jobs to save on costs. That's even with the Yes vote that's been passed!
Blame the EU all you want, but look at who is now running things here at home. We took something from the EU and handed to the Tories. Good Job!
Even if the assembly workers are on £30k a year, it's ALOT cheaper in Eastern Europe where the jobs are going. A friend of mine messaged me yesterday, that Ford is going to cut the work force to 500 workers and just 1 engine. The New dragon engine that was planned to be built in Bridgend will now be built at the new factory in Romainia to maximise profit.
"Brexit Means Brexit"... so what is "Brexit"?
You do realise we are still a part of the EU and at this current time nothing has changed don't you??

"At this current time" did you catch up with the news over the past 9 months, unless the unelected lords have their way(what a pointless, and irrelevant waste of our taxes) we are out. What better excuse for Ford executives to re-align an unsustainable wage bill....re-location costs to anywhere in Eastern Europe are irrelevant and will be absorbed. Saves the migrants the trouble of coming here in the first place....BTW from first hand experience they are streets ahead in terms of work ethic of the average British worker
