The committee sign Zohore who is terrible until Warnock arrives. Now he's hit form with the new management team, and it's the committee who take the plaudits?

Don't buy that, sorry.

What about all the other players ?

You're missing the fact that Zohore was terrible under Slade and Trollope.

That's a fact.

Absolutely not true.

You could look at the debate in another way.

The transfer committee is fine and doing quite a good job, its the CEO who picked the last two coaches who is to blame.

You rarely make it to championship level if you can't play, its the man management that is the difference maker.

I think the point of the thread is you cant pick and choose to suit yourself.

At the end of the day no matter what manager or what the club is im sure you can make a case for and against there signings. No manager is ever going to get them right all the time.

Slade should hold his head in shame mate. he did as was told whether it be good or bad for our football club.
that is the main difference between him and Warnock tbh. one just wanted a wage the other actually wants to achieve something here.

I have to agree 100% Spot on :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright:

Slade had an unbelievable squad, but a yes man, now bottom of the lower division, suits him.

Warnock wants success and is not a yes man :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright:

Rubbish. Slade wasn't a great manager but he was brought in to do a job. People in 99% of jobs have to do what their bosses tell them. Warnock has enough experience and a good enough CV to say, it's my way or the highway. That's the difference.

not much point in having a manager then is there?
the bloke stole a living here.
and is doing the exact same at Coventry. in fact and Charlton.

Re: Zohore and the transfer committee

People who slated Zohore before his run of form know absolutely nothing about football.. this guy started twice last season and made 10 appearances off the bench and made more appearances off the bench than he started so how can you pick a judgement on someone who never got a tidy run of games?

Worcester you are simply talking pure stupidity saying someone is terrible who made 2 starts last season and scored 2 goals and currently made 13 this season and scored 7 goals this season.

The board brought in a player who had a lot more potential than we realised.. yes Warnock deserves credit for using him to strengths and giving him the confidence but the board brought this player in and if you can't give them credit it's because of personal issues regarding Tan and co.

I think the main point is being missed...this transfer committee has little or ...no football knowledge..what are they basing their decisions on i would love to know....who if anyone is influencing or advising them... i think it is hard for some people to give credit to these people and i fully understand Annis 's views. i am torn with.... are they getting some decisionrs right....
or are they fluking it now and again, or are they learning from their mistakes
there are a lot of different views on this and who knows who is right...all about opinions

They are All clueless on football and thats how sad it is, not got a clue between them all and thats partly the reason our club is in such a mess. They were desperate and after 8 managers,6 CEO'S they finally brought the right manager in " NEIL WARNOCK " :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

They had to get it right in the end, even a kid in primary school would of got it right by the 4th manager

Allan, I refer to a post a couple of days ago where Neil Warnock (a little tongue in cheek) states that Vincent Tan tries to pick his players and questions his choices (Noone's non-selection in recent times being one of them)

Seems to confirm that 'weaker' managers (I bet he's never met a man like Neil Warnock in his life! LOL :laughing6: ) were able to be influenced by those above them and I also agree that it appears Paul Trollope was unable to motivate :ayatollah:

Paul trollope was a head coach as stated by the club. Warnock is a 100% manager people seem to forget there two different roles so I agree with the above weaker bit :bluescarf:
