I have to say we deserved the first-half easily, but the second-half was theirs and we tired badly,a draw was fair :bluebird: :bluebird:

Agree. Good assessment.
They had chances to win as well so I'm sure their fans are saying the same.
With a weak bench it was difficult to change the midfield in such a game so a point was a fair result for me although Declan on 90 minutes ......... :banghead:

A DRAW WAS A FAIR RESULT.

BUT FOR ANYONE STILL DREAMING OF THE PLAY-OFFS,WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT TILL NEXT SEASON.

The Second-half Cardiff looked tired after giving so much in the first-half, City struggled,so a draw was a fair result.

The Canton Stand was bouncing today and loud.

Zohore, Gunnarsson, Kadeem Harris and Junior Hoilett had stood out for City.

The first half, Cardiff had clearly the better chances and were unlucky not to be leading by half-time.

CARDIFF CITY 2 FULHAM 2

Away 870 Fulham fans
Cardiff Scorers
24th & 56th mins Zohore

McGregor, Connolly, Morrison, Bamba, Richards, Ralls, Gunnarsson, K Harris, Noone, Hoilett, Zohore

Subs: Murphy, Bennett, John, Whittingham, Halford, M Harris, Pilkington

City fans received great news just before kick-off with the announcement of Neil Warnocks new contract being signed for next season :thumbright: :bluebird:

Cardiff started well, had a few chances, Fulham broke away from a Cardiff free kick which was wasted and Fulham scored in the 18th min, quite an easy breakaway goal. 0-1

Cardiff continued to be the better team and it finally paid of with Kenneth Zohore scoring in the 24th min 1-1 :bluebird:
It was another excellent taken goal by Zohore.

Cardiff had the better chances and created more and could of gone in leading at half-time.

H/T Cardiff City 1 Fulham 1

Zohore, Gunnarsson, Harris and Junior Hoilett had stood out for City.

In the 56th minute Zohore won the ball and ran with it and drilled it with his right foot 2-1 City :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

City were then in control for long spells, but then sloppiness from City allowed Fulham's substitute to make it 2-2 in the 67th min.

Fulham for the first time in the game looked now in control and Cardiff looked tired.

In the 86th min Declan John replaced Craig Noone.

Declan John hit the post in the 90th miniute.

F/T Cardiff City 2 Fulham 2

The Play Off's would be an incredible achievement which are probably a pipe dream but I for one am not going to rule them out just yet. The optimist inside me wont allow it

We actually gained a point on 6th today with Wednesday losing so its down to 12 now, the teams above us are not a million miles away either as Fulham in 7th are only 7 point's above us.

If we can win the next two games which are achievable we will be going into back to back home games against Birmingham and Ipswich on a huge high. I know that the teams above us are obviously going to pick up points aswell but if we can keep chipping away whats to say that 12 point gap cant be down to 5-6 after the next 6 games, the 40 game mark.

Going into the last 6 games, 21 points anything could happen then, one of which would be against Sheffield Wednesday themselves.

What an absolute incredible situation and all credit to Neil Warnock for putting us in this position :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Totally agree with what Warnock has achieved for Cardiff City this season :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

For me promotion is to late, so lets play a few fringe players and see if we should keep them on :thumbright: :bluebird:

It was becoming more & more difficult too break out of our half in the second half, & I was happy to take the point in the end!

Rick, thats how I felt at the end, I was happy to get the draw :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

I came away from the game Annis feeling entertained & having my monies worth. Yes, we could, & possibly should have scored more, in the first half & right at the end, but the progress & commitment from City was there for all to see. It was also nice to see a lot of old faces that I haven't seen in a while at the ground yesterday. :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

A world away compared to some of the shite served up before Warnock. I'm confident we can go very close next season :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Prob one of the best games of the season :thumbright: :bluebird:
