The entire Grangend and Block A of the Grandstand singing 'Istanbul, Istanbul, Istanbul' in unison to the 'engerrrland' tune being one.

Agree. Pot, kettle and black from one or two over this occurrence

Not condoning for one moment but it's worth an ask "What would they have done about chants of Istanbul from a large number of people?" ;)

you might be a potty black kettle but that doesnt i am .

Sorry, that wasn't aimed at you. I was actually agreeing with your point! ;) :ayatollah:

i didnt think it was personal. but it did open the door to make the point that some of us do draw a line.
those that died in instanbul were murdered by some coward with a knife. had it been Cardiff or any other club there that night
the same would have happened.

Some of our fans were singing it at Reading - sickening and an embarrassment to themselves and our club :old:

It happens all over the country from every set of fans not saying it's right but it happens

I know that Wez, I'm pretty sure that the Leeds fans/lads just let it go over their heads these days in the main.

Football has always been used as a vehicle to air sick chant's etc, mainly by kids or those who know no better, I have done it myself in the past when I was younger, I would be an absolute hypocrite to pretend I haven''t. What I would say though is that at 59 years of age that Huddersfield fan could do with giving his head a good wobble, preferably with a few of the Leed's lads hands around his neck

I appreciate your honesty. I am sure we have all chanted things that we shouldn't have in our younger years. I know I did. I wouldn't now like but for this reason the hypocracy is astounding in some instances. I'm amazed how some people react to everyday stuff on the interweb.
