1. Leeds United themselves.
2. Cardiff City for not giving the tickets back.
3 Cardiff City fans for not boycotting this game.

I'm going for all 3 at the moment.

How many games did you go to in the Premiership?

Was ib double figures
Just wondering if you went to most of the big clubs, man city I believe,I paid £40,the Leeds thing on here is getting a bit sad, while I agree they take the piss with prices, but it's nothing we haven't paid before,so season after season, why does this forum constantly bring it up,it's not just you it different poster, most of them paying higher entrance fees to get in to premiership grounds, other clubs sell out at Elland road, why is it cardiff fans calling to boycott the place??

Only big club I wet to was Arsenal and that cost £20.

I dont recall paying any thing above what Leeds are asking for.

There's a few people on this thread moaning about the price that when those of us who never went to Bristol City and cited the early kick off as a reason were met with 'stop making excuses blah blah blah'.

f*cking hypocrites, it's £7 more and as Annis himself always say's if you really wanted to go you would go.

As was said to me, if you don't want to go, just be honest about it

There were a few close and definitely a few above,I can understand the price being high for people on a low income and kids but if we had drawn man united or any big name in a cup, there would be thousands wanting to go,irrelevant of the price

Out of those oly went to the West Ham game.

Don't recall paying that much but most likely did not think of it as it was our first game in the premier. Would have most likely paid more for that occasion. Special occasion though was it not? '

it was indeed.
i do think 37 is a bit much myself, and that the championship should follow the prem by bringing in a 30quid ceiling for away fans.
i certainly dont think our club should be sending tickets back as they have done in past though.

nothing sad about it mate, some people just don't like being blatantly ripped off. I've never paid £37 for a league game, prem or not. Football needs to look after the working class. some people won't go on the principle of this price - like myself.

The reason Leeds keeps getting brought up is because its NOT the prem is it. They're NOT one of the biggest clubs in the world let alone in the UK anymore. They haven't even got that argument on their side to be mugging fans off. They just do it anyway. So f**k Leeds and f**k modern football.

i dont think anyone is saying £37 is fair, or reasonable for championship football.
i dont blame anyone for not going for whatever reason.im not going myself but ive been there before and been overcharged as i have at many other grounds includding a staggering 45 quid for the cup game at arsenal 8 years ago .if anyone wants to draw a line at 25 or 30 quid its their choice.
but this Leeds thread appears every year . and its always money is the issue. yet we took almost a thousand to Newcastle with the vast majority staying the weekend. and if Swansea come down and decide to charge 37 quid there will be queues down Sloper rd.
people will find the money if they want to go,i think thats been proved over and over not least of all at the euros.

I also think that there will be massive aggro aswell which will worry most of us from travelling I think the price might might have been made that way its one hell of a nasty place to go .

For me it is 100% not being prepared to be ripped off. I will actually be staying less than an hour from the ground Thursday to Sunday, visiting a relative, but I will not pay those sort of prices for 90 minutes of football. Not just football, I have cancelled sky because I view that as a rip off as well. I am not going to help line the pockets of overpaid players and agents any more than I have to. I could give many more examples, simple fact is although we live in rip off Britain, I try my hardest not to give money to those I know are blatantly ripping us off. :old:

But Football is a rip of per se Steve so if people are genuinely taking that stance based on the price then really speaking they should give up Football in its entirety.

It's only a few weeks since over 2,000 paid £30 (some would have paid £32 with the booking fee and postage) to go to Bristol City.

I 100% unreservedly respect anybody who says they are not going on moral grounds due to the ticket price being a rip off but some of the people using that line on this thread will without a shadow of a doubt pay £4.50 for a pint in a plastic cup at some grounds, pay over the odds for a Burger, a Pie, a Football top etc etc etc and would be the first in the ticket line if there was something on the game or it was a more glamorous trip.

When I said I wasn't going to Bristol City cos I have had a guts full of our games being moved all the time I was told it was an excuse blah blah blah etc etc, well quite frankly, right back at them. (Not aimed at you BTW  )

the rule is. you can only charge away fans what you charge your own fans that are in similar seats .so althought the cheapest Leeds tickets are 28 quid many of them will pay more.

im torn about the rip off. half their revenue from away fans is spent on policing .
and villa were charged 42 quid by shef weds but still sold their allocation

I'm going this year- as it's one of the few grounds I haven't done, and my lad too.
However I've refused to give them my money in previous years and begrudge it this time too.

Also, I feel the side need some support and as I CAN afford to do it and have a few mates and my son and his mate coming too then it's right for me to go.

I can though fully understand many not going- a lot of my mates have due to the price.
