Why are we still obsessed with our "rivals"????

Warnock is a good manager. Heard him on Talk Sport (yesterday I think??). He spoke well and has the club at heart.

We ain't Premier League YET so let's concentrate on us before speculating about others. Just saying.

obsessed is pretending to be a fan of one club when your a fan of another. or being in the prem all these years but still brag about having 28 pple more watching 30 years ago.

interesting that your first post back is on this thread.

They have given themselves a bit of a chance with a few results, long way to go yet though. Sunderland will go, maybe Hull. Don't think palace will. So between them and a few others. Not really the same club now though, sold out to the corporate world behind the fans backs. It will never be the same down there so I hear, shocking atmosphere in the stands too.
I'm just glad we have a proper manager at long last, let's hope he and Vincent can work together because he will take us up next year I have no doubts.

Same club just different owners, ethos has beem re-installed actually. Young hungry manager, passing football and investment in youth. Atmosphere usually linked to table position, when down the bottom it seems a tense atmosphere.

On the pitch yes. Off the pitch things have been improving since December. What makes Swansea special is the fact they went from League 2 to the Premier League growing organically and slowly with a ethos of youth and good football. That is still there and in fact more than in recent times. Huw Jenkins owning 12% rather than 5% certainly is not what made Swansea special.

I am not entirely sure that makes any sense in this context.

Silly me, I thought the fans owning 20% of the club and having a say in things was a huge deal, all you lot used to bang on about etc...but now the trust is almost dormant with no say and not even consulted in the sale of the club. Shares worth nothing too.
Still don't need me to tell you just go on planet swans and chat to you're fellow fans, oh that's right you can't as they all thing you're a few cans short of a six pack, or a slab of piss, as they say in oz.....plenty of clubs have risen up the leagues like u have, nothing unique there either....still, live the dream eh...

The fans (or the Trust) own exactly the same amount of shares as they always have had (21%). According to the Trust chairman they have had more input over last managerial appointment than they ever had under the old regime. I contribute quite regularly on planet swans and was on the shortlist for poster of the year last year, voted by the readers  ... But I suppose your selective fantasies and made up stories does help when trying to put another club down eh? :laughing6:

Good to see that within the midst of insanity and borderline psychosis you still have a sense of humour roathie, something to build on maybe. Poster of the year.......love it. You are popular guy, you're misses and kids love you too....in the dream at least.
you weren't the kid in the Ozzie film, bad boy bubbly were you?? Check it out if not seen, I'm sure it's the sort of film you watch in your basement alone most days.....

It is impossible to troll if what you are saying is reasonable, factual or perfectly fair... or in my case usually a mix of all 3. Many have been burned by sense in the past so I understand the anger, the name calling and the crying (Which ironically is the thing that sounds like it requires external help). But I forgive.

Yes 100% talking sense as always. You have a vendetta due to being burned many times rather than having a flawed memory so I wouldn't be too worried if I was you that you just made that ridiculous comment, you are not alone. If there was a table with strikerate of correct or accurate posts, I would be top by a country mile. That's why people get so angry at the mere presence of my username (and deep down everyone knows this to be the case) :D

Mr Philip Sumbker claiming that communication and participation in club decisions is better as a minority shareholder rather than being one of the major share holders in Swansea Town FC. What were the board representatives of the trust doing in those missing years? I would suggest filling their own boots, ala Huw Coose and co!

Total mis-management of the trusts legacy!

Planetswans poster of the year? How desperate?
