Sure warnock has said hes hoping to be backed in the summer not this window and hopefully push for promotion next season. So i dont know how the club has shit on him by not splashing the cash this window as warnock has said

Warnock says it would be "nice" to add up to two new players to his squad, but recruiting a striker is unlikely.

In the meantime, Warnock says he is "quite happy with what we've got".

He added: "I think the club's got to look more for quality strikers, quality signings in the summer, really."

Warnock has hinted he may not stay beyond the end of the season unless owner Vincent Tan backs his recruitment plans for a promotion challenge next season.

From this statement he expects to be backed in summer not now. I would obviously like us to sign couple today but if not hes said hes happy to go with what hes got

Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock hopes to make "three or four" signings during the January transfer window.

"I would like to bring in a striker,but i don't think i will have the funds to sign one"

My quote from warnock was from 25th of January after the brighton game so im guessing during the time u mentioned ( the 2nd) he may of been informed that unless he got rid of a few hes not going to be able to spend much money . So hes happy to go with what hes got and get a list ready for the summer hopefully get somebody in tho still time. And good hes shifted more shit off the wage budget
