Hi polo seems that the problem is a new addon by tvaddons, it is called indigo, which was meant to replace, maintenance tool, addon installer, fresh start, which is in the fusion addon, some people are having addons removed by this addon, especially those who have xunity addons on their kodi, it seems that tvaddons do not get on with xunity, because they were going to put adverts on their addons, there has been no statement from tvaddons whether it is a bug, or not; their site is down for urgent maintenance so I think it could be a bug.

If your daughter is asked to update kodi on her firestick she should refrain for the moment until everything is sorted out
