For me, Murphy had been doing enough not to be dropped for a goalkeeper who'd not played for months.

Do we really have the time for McGregor to play himself into form in our current position?

It's the goalkeeper's responsibility to organise the wall at a free kick and he got it badly wrong today. The boy who took the kick didn't need to put it over, under or around the wall - he just had to kick it straight past the last player in the wall and into the corner of the goal which McGregor had left uncovered.

In my opinion, he definitely cost us a point today.

Alan McGregor is coming back from a major injury and it's not too long ago he was keeping Marshall 'honest' in the Scotland international team. He is more than adequate for the remainder of this season and may be a big benefit with his advice to the other keepers at the club

Warnock was chuffed to have captured him and I was under the impression that most City fans were pretty happy too but we must remember that a week is a long time in City fan politics! ;) :laughing6:

What did the previous keeper do wrong to get dropped?

Maybe he's a bit rusty regarding match play as been out for a little while

Don't have to,whoever wrote it needs their bumps felt. He'll help stop the rot. When I think of all the players slated on here after two games over the last 5 or 6yrs I could probably make a top 6 side.

You are spot on in terms of the free kick. Morrison should have done better on the first goal.

Your forgiven! but seriously the last 3 goals have all been because defence made hash of defending so is goalkeeper at fault because he's conceded the goals? Anyway he's a good keeper and doesn't deserve the critism aimed at him

Good signing but was at fault for the free kick goal yesterday.

Could it be result of not quite in tune with defenders? It was such an elimentary mistake to make !

Yeah sorry wasnt getting at you, hes obviously a good keeper and better than what we have, unless players are truly shocking we should stick by them
