NO NEW STRIKER COMING IN/WARNOCK SAYS I WANT TO BE BACKED

Zahore has showed in past 2 games why he is nowhere near as good as people think he is or can be.

It is lamentable that a £25k a week proven striker sits on the bench when he would have been what was needed v Burton & last night to beef up a powderpuff attack.

If Lambert is going or not going to play then City desperately need a goalscorer to get the necessary points to guarantee survival this season. We won't get enough points relying on the odd goal from a midfielder or defender if our current first choice no 9 is so impotent.

So it seems imperative that a new striker comes in.

Warnock virtually has to play players like Zohore as he has no one else, as Lambert always looks unfit and Warnock must not rate him ahead of Zohore.

For three years we've known we needed a good striker,"The Committee were set up to sort this out" ?

It's more than three years we've needed a stoker since bothryod and chopra left,

After what went before, Neil Warnock has been a God send. Not only does he fit all the 'managerial criteria' for a club wanting to be a top Championship side but he also fits the 'fan criteria' for a club like ours. He's a character, he shoots from the hip with a smile on his face and he is exactly what most Cardiff City fans have screamed out for!

I am not too concerned if he has been told he effectively has to go with what he has for this season. The squad is more than good enough to 'survive' and he is more than good enough to make sure that happens. Indeed, he has already alluded to that fact and that Zohore (whether we agree or not) may have saved the club paying out £1.5m for a newbie

Let's get this season out of the way and see whether the ambition of Mr Tan will meet the ambition of our manager who knows this Division and what it takes to get out of it (often on a budget) better than most

Couldn't agree more with this Chris.
It would be nice to move up and finish midway or whatever but I would be more than happy if we spend sod all this window, finish where we are at the moment - 19th - and have a bit more to spend in the summer.

Surely Tan realises that if he doesn't back Warnock in the summer we are back to square one with disillusioned fans and serious relegation battles to follow?

And if anyone replies about debt, then it's debt due to Tan's massive loans, which we're paying back with interest.

Charging himself interest on loans he is repaying with his own money ?? Not sure how that works in his favour!!

If there's no striker coming in this window then surely he can call Saadi back?! Warnock has never ever mentioned him in all his interviews I've seen. Does he even know he exists?! He's fast and powerful, all the things Warnock is looking for.

Surely worth a punt

Its probably the case that Tan just doesn't want another player back on the bankroll. This doesn't bode well for investing in a promotion push next season.

Surely Tan can see that Warnock is not culpable for a plethora of terrible signings he inherited eg Fred being out of his depth, Amos being just plain average, Immers given away, and now Lambert being offered on a free.

Warnock is the best thing to have happened to City since Mackay came in. Tan cannot paint Warnock with his brush, and look at this objectively and with tunnel vision and see the best way of getting the club's valuation up so he can then potentially get some of his investment back, is to give Warnock a decent shout in the transfer market now to ensure we do not get relegated and in the summer to give us a decent chance at promotion.

We were not that far off it with Slade and given his limitations, it does not take a genius to work out that it can be done relatively cheaply with a proper man at the helm.

A common theme when we have a manager saying we won't sign someone means we will, I reckon we have a striker in the pipeline and will be announced by deadline day.
