Totally agree with you! Zohore had no service and chased lost causes. Also he held the ball up very well and stayed strong up against some big defenders today, oh and nearly got a goal. He certainly didn't fail!! For me he did very well today!

And like you say Morrison and Connolly were shocking, just lumping balls any where and hoping for the best.

I rarely come on here anymore but I had to log in to give my opinion on this regarding Zahore. Why such a negative post title considering we've just won the game ??

I know ! And he's getting stick for it . Winds me up mun ! Half these people don't know football I'm sure !

Me either i only logged in to put my 10 pence worth in and stick up for the lad !

launching balls up to Harris and hoilet on the wings . Their defence were tall . It made no sense at all .

I'd try a combination of little and large Zo and Healy

Me too ! We desperately need pace up top! We are no threat to teams with no pace defenders have nothing much to worry about

Re: ' Kenneth Zohore failed again '

He is young and will get better but the main thing he is not use to playing the lone striker same as Lambert both would be better with a small pacey striker playing alongside them.

Playing a lone striker takes time for a player personally the only players I thought did anything today was Kennedy and of course Rhys Healey other a very poor show

Bothroyd was a great player but only with chopra or McCormack on his own I think we would have been moaning like hell about him.

Warnock must see something in him .. he's hard working but lacks instinct !
Must be destroying to see Healey score and how he created that space

The ball dropped on his head? Zahore was running all game and got no service. If you couldn't see that and blame the striker I'm sorry but you don't know how to read a football match.

Someone who came on and changed the game v Wolves and has had 5 league starts since then playing in a team that W3 D1 L1 picking up 10 points out of 15..

The only reason NW took Zohore off was that he had injured his back a few minutes earlier. He worked hard today with little support and but for the injury would have played the full 90 minutes in my opinion.

Those that are slating him today, can't have been at the game.
There were very few shots today as the ball didn't make it to the shooting positions.
Peter Thorne didn't score many for us but was part of a very successful partnership as well as boothroyd.
Zohore could do with an earnie or chops to play alongside, maybe healy is that player.
Hoilett was poor today I thought.

I thought he went off because he looked like he injured himself, he went off holding his side

Agree 100% with comments that we need creative players in midfield...Burton offered zero today and would have been murdered by a team that can create a few chances.

Genuinely don't believe Zohore is a natural goal scorer but massively applaud his progress. He will never become something he is not though so I would love to see a player come in with a natural eye for goal. I really like Lambert and I think his quality shows in his positioning and his touch and his awareness. I would like to see him being our regular striker as he has the experience and know how to bring other players into the game.

A creative midfielder is a must though. Someone with drive and urgency. Today's match would've been disrespectful to League 1 for much of it.

Agree with you its a thankless task being a lone striker

What about bringing Saaidi back? What we need is a Jordan Mutch type in the team too.Too many teams come and control matches through the middle. We got out of jail today tho!!

He has played bulk of his matches as lone striker. Not taking anything away from Healey as he did what he was asked to do. But we had 2 strikers on then. Maybe zohore could of been where he was if Lambert was leading the line with Zohore on?? Why do people on here always feel the need to knock player's.

Agree completely.I remember Malky asking Kenny Miller to do the same job and he didn't get that many goals either and yet was prolific at just about any other club he played for.I also remember clearly Malky saying that we needed the midfield and wide men to chip in with goals which is what happened when we won this division.I think he's as good as we can get at the moment and if NW's happy with him, which he clearly is then that's good enough for me.I also remember Bothroyd getting similar flak on this board too when he first came here.
