I only hope Halford can dramatically improve. He certainly doesn't look like a midfielder after that!
Thankfully It will be a very different team and mentality against Bristol.
One bad game and you are saying Bennett was a bad signing!
Bennett was left exposed to a very fast player even mamba would have struggled one on one with him!
Racist.

He set the team up awfully today and the new signing he brought in was abysmal. He is a good manager but he is also very good at shifting the blame - which many seem to lap up. Currently Warnock is even more to blame than the players if you ask me, it is his job to fire the players up and make good tactical decisions, currently he doesn't seem to be doing either.

Playing long balls to Lambert is silly, as he cant chase them. We have to either play differently when he's in our team, or not play him, as simple as that.
Bennett was just up against a player who had his number. It's football, it happens.
Our new signing DID look worrying though, agreed. I'd like to think he was out of position though?

It's not the score that appalled me it was the team performance over all and the majority are first team players on a lot of wages.
If I was Neil Warnock I would want rid of the majority of them, even Joe Bennett who has been quite solid so far this season looked like he did not want to be out there.
Rickie Lambert biggest waste of money this season, I don't just mean to single two out as the majority of City players were awful.
New signing Halford was today, virtually a waste of space, hopefully we will see a massive improvement in him, but going by today no wonder Rotherham gave him away.
How was an ordinary Fulham was able to control the game so easy?
There was no fight, passion, togerthness and it was as though they never wanted to be there?
I AM SHOCKED AS THATS NOT LIKE A NEIL WARNOCK TEAM?

Unfortunately we are suffering from the business done by our previous managers of late. Today as far as I am concerned proved that.
This was a time for our fringe players to make a mark. They failed to do that. Why? Perhaps not good enough or the setup was wrong. In fairness to them some of the blame must be put on the setup but I wonder if although in a new situation they failed to do what was asked.

Also, to slightly defend Bennett (although he did have a mare), I believe Warnock got it all wrong today. The full backs had 0 support and we're left 1 on 1 too many times, a player like their winger should be doubled up on but Warnock didn't identify that before the game or change it early enough.
That aside, I thought the general desire and effort was piss poor. But it was half expected after what Warnock said about this fixture the other day wasn't it?
Jack, they can say what they want, there was no need for City to play that bad, it's not the result,it's the diabolical performance.
Your right Annis but we can't right Bennett off from one game as many seem to be

If we had been allowed to withdraw from the competition we probably would have done so (and many other teams too) Cup football is dying - the league is everything. The only thing that might revive it is the abolition of the League Cup, and even that might not work.
I'm glad we're out with hopefully no injuries. We also saw why some of the fringe players aren't good enough. Forget about it and move on.

That's no excuse for players to play so poorly. These players should have been fighting tooth and nail to prove a point. It's always difficult putting a team of players together that don't play regularly and making it click though. Still, I think our fans are right to have expected more. It took a decent effort for so many to turn up so early to watch a scratch team play. They should have been rewarded with more of a performance.
