I got my copy from MacArthur Glen Bookshop,Bridgend for 3pounds in their sale.

Brings up the rebrand again but you conveniently forgets Sams talk of joining us with Swansea or his now famous Cardiff Celts playing in green.
"Hammam was speaking exclusively to BBC Radio Wales Sportstime from New York and was still determined his plans for a name-change and change of strip would go ahead.
A passionate Hammam said, " I feel so strongly, I am in completely, I am in with all my heart and I promise you, I will die trying to go under this red dragon, this Celtic thing."

Like I say you refer to our embarrassing rebrand under Tan as some sort of show for how great Sam was when the reality is Sam had just as many (if not worst) ideas and you could argue he was a football man who knew a lot more than Tan did when it came to just how much a rebrand would hurt the club.
Sam made a lot of money out of the club and took us to court willing to finish our club for good. Just for that I'm glad he will never step foot in our ground again.

Correct and it was the Norwegians who were totally responsible, when Sam left Wimbledon they were still a top flight club.

That is not the whole truth.. I've read Rokke and Gjeldstens take on it. When they bought the club, the club was in a mess, the figures was in red, and sinking.
These are business men with more money than Tan, so they know the score..When they bought the club, there where stadium expansions in plan, and that what sold them, as their calculations showed they could turn it around. The club was dead either way. I don't remember why, but the expansion fell through, and they had to pull the plug. But they didn't start the mess, they tried to clean it.

Does'nt mean I would buy a second hand car from him though.

The similarities between us and Wimbledon is stark! both clubs were invigorated by Sam but both ended up in extreme financial trouble or worse whilst Sam made millions from clubs! I believe Sams intentions was to make as much money as possible regardless of how he did it.
Funny enough I posted wouldn't buy 2nd hand car from him that's how much trust him.

Allan,
They are not at all Wimbledon even when they were in the Top ten of top flight football they only had 6,000 of their own fans and could not survive on gate money, No sky money then, ground minute and they were never going to be ever supported well and never will be. Sam sold them to Norwegians and they were still in the Top 10 of top flight football, all facts.

Never mentioned size or crowds I refereed to fact that both clubs had big lifts with Sam but both were left financially or worse off by Sam , while he left with millions! As I said before Wimbledon fans hate him ask the question why? Could be fact they lost their ground because of his actions? They certainly won't welcome him back that's for sure

When Sam took over us we were rotting in Div 4, skint,in debt, No one wanted us a fact, low crowds and we had Year after year been on the door of bankruptcy, all facts and I knew our club inside out then and never missed a game,we were down to some games 11 fans away then. So those that keep blaming Sam, Where were all those fans in them days???

No idea where they've gone most likely it's financial, at many games away I was one of 50 or less going away! I don't blame Sam as our financial problems go way back but he like every other owner he was in it to make money. there is light at end tunnel even if it's going to take 4yrs,..? My view on owners as never changed as they come and go! only interested in team hence reason I have ST despite it being difficult at times to attend games! Anyway Sam like tan will just be a footnote in our history.

Allan, Well no one else wanted us did they and they could not see us making money?
Everyone wants to make money, but I honestly believe Sam feeling like a god to many City fans at the time made him feel more happier and Sam was in it to be a hero, for glory and the adoration he craved on it.
Financially Sam messed up big time and could not sustain the spending, He admits he made some mistakes and went wrong on this.

Won't argue with that! Funny how nearly all our owners mess up in one way or other! maybe the next one will get it right?
