I though city fully deserved the 3 points today and were solid with Bamba and Manga at the back. For me Holliett still is not offering us much but is still also better than what we have on the bench. Murphy in goal was good again today and as for Zahore the lad worked his socks off and was winning and battling for everything his way. The referee today was one of the worst I have seen (honestly) and as for Grealish I would be embarrassed as a Villa fan, the lad took 1 or 2 but was falling over and flinging his arms about and he was comical.
Crowd was much better today and it felt like a proper football match, let's hope Sunday we can have some type of decent turn out considering its televised and stupid kick off time, I for 1 will be there. C'Mon City

Sore losers
I'm definately a sore loser but listening to the local commentary, both commentators (one an ex player) were commenting throughout how Grealish had clearly been targeted. They were both full of praise that he continually dusted himself down & got on with it. I saw the home game and he was kicked to f**k, I can imagine what Warnock said to his players today beforehand.
I don't think the Ref would be biased and yes Warnocks players get tough and prob to passionate, but its up to a Ref to decide.
I know Warnock would of wound us up today and who could blame a manager with a team near the bottom.
Thats why Warnock is called in, when clubs need saving.![]()

I've no probs with Warnock mate. You have to do whatever when you are at the bottom, I would do the same. I've not seen the game so can't comment but yes, it was down to the ref & from what I was hearing, he wasn't up to much.
None of it really matters, it's not going to take any of the points back off you is it?
You won't make top 2,but you will make the play-offs

The boy is an excellent footballer but he has a side to him which he needs to look at. Football is supposed to be a physical game (although sometimes nowadays that doesn't seem to be the case). Every time, and I mean EVERY TIME anyone tried to tackle him, he fell over, waved his arms, complained to the referee and generally behaved like a spoilt child.
Undoubtedly he was fouled a few times but he doesn't help himself by his childish, moaning reaction.
Did we "target" him? Who cares? if we were concentrating so much on Grealish why weren't your other better players able to take advantage?
I suppose our players should just let Grealish have as much time as he likes on the ball to cause the damage his talent is undoubtedly capable of. He's extremely lucky not to be sent off for a blatant dive towards the end having already been yellow carded for being a tart.

Well if he was diving every time, it is the first time this season-He usually goes round players like they're not there. Why would he want to dive? It's funny how you lot always see these "blatant dives" but never the refs isn't it?

No it's not the first time this season - he did it at the game at Villa Park too as well as running after the ref waving his imaginary yellow card!

And this is exactly why you don't know what you are talking about. You read some crap on here about him running after the ref. He was sat on his arse after been hacked for the umpteenth time and held 5 fingers up to say that was the fith time. There was no imaginary yellow card.

GrangeEndStar wrote:The best team won today. In fact, a fairer result at Villa Park would have been a draw. Grealish has a rep as a diver and once sussed, divers get something to actually dive about. Looked at the Villa forum and they are just sore losers. They can make up as many excuses as they want but the reality is that they are just not that good. And despite the number of fans they brought down today, were relatively quiet for large parts of the game and especially when losing. I lost respect for them today when some of them tried to get to the family stand. Birmingham tried it a few seasons ago. Must be a character trait. Gobby brummie pikey cowards.
