Then they must be a minority of about 10. As stated, its well documented. Look at the forums and what the fans and the fans representatives were saying at the time. They were to a man against this take over and always have been, same as the initial American takeover which they all managed tk stop. There will always be a handful of morons that don't understand but in Swanseas case it must literally be not even 0.1%, thats the obvious truth of the matter.

From what I saw lots thought they would kick on and leave us for dust and I don't understand why he's trying to deny this.
Their Trust did make some noises but went very quiet- and there has been lots of talk from Swansea fans I know off sweeteners given out.
There were no serious protests- as there weren't with us.
Fact is they weren't to know it would end up like this, so why would they.
As soon as the yanks came in and started trying to score cheap points by referring to us 'we won't be changing colours, that's one thing for sure', then the alarm bells should have rung.
They didn't and only the poor results have made them wake up.
Same as it did with us in the end.

my friend there is no opinion, this is all 100% factual, 100% obvious and 100% documented. It is cringable that a few of the posters here are trying to fly in the face of obvious reality to ease their guilt over the Tan situation.
I would say 99.9% of Swansea fans were against the takeover. The other 0.1% quickly realised why they were in such a minority once the Trust gave their address a week later. That is just simply the state of it.

It is not about speaking to different people. The supporters Trust acts on the wishes of the fans - the Trust opposed the takeover and always have done.

I think as you are quoting stuff as 100% proof it's up to you to provide evidence.
When were the protests ? Marches etc..
Pretty low profile.
Also, you didn't answer my question? Do I know you or not ?

I didn't say there were protests or marches. I said the fanbase were clearly against it. The Trust acting on behalf of the fams made it clear as well as any thread you wish to read on the subject on their fan pages.
All I have asked is to link me to something which backs your minority opinion.

I am very close to the club and made no secret of it. My wife is a jack as is all her family, which is of course now my family. I am a City fan as varified by Annis, but I don't hold the hate for the jacks as many do here which is why I can give fair and actually acurate details of events without fantasy or posturing.

I grew up in Swansea. My whole family live in Swansea. Some of the first football games I ever went to were at the Vetch (forgive me for my sins, I was merely a young boy!!) I have two separate uncles who are season ticket holders. I have numerous close friends who are Swansea fans.
You're chatting rubbish. Their fans WERE positive about the new ownership, and only showed slight hesitation based on what they'd seen with us up the road, and weren't happy that the deal appeared to be stopping them from doing business in the summer. To claim anything else is rubbish, and you clearly don't know much about the Swansea fanbase despite your attempts to state otherwise.

a Wales Online article? Dont talk wet.
You clearly have no understanding of the situation. At no point was it suggested that money would be spent on the side or on facilities, it was only ever a share sale. There was nothing for the fanbase to believe in or buy into - it was never on the table.
Again, the supporters Trust is elected to act on behalf of the wishes of the fans. THE TRUST OPPOSED IT AND STILL DO. Every single thread on the subject suggests this also. If all you have is a Cardiff based wales online article then you are waving the white flag right here and now

There is no arguing going in here fella. I am just telling people who are clearly misinformed at best or pointlessly posturing at worst - how the situation really is.
Swansea is not my favourite topic. In fact if you read my topics you would see me urging people to talk about Cardiff. My most popular topic however is putting certain mistruths and lies right and directing banter down the roght channels where we actually have a leg to stand on.
Bit like calling Brad Pitt ugly, and expecting people to believe it. If you want to have a go at him then get some factual angles like the fact his wife just left him. This whole Swansea fans wanted the takeover nonsense is essentially the Brad Pitt is ugly argument. Its just pointless. They are crap, loads to have a go at them about - why make stuff up.

Rubbish. We were not happy with Trollope. Where were the protests or marches?
The anger was there from the start, the Trust and the supporters were kept in the dark an betrayed and this was known by all well before the takeover was made official. Why on earth would anybody be happy with that. What you are saying makes no sense what so ever. There is nothing to spin, its clear to anyone and everyine the jacks did not want this takeover and anger is understandably growing as they see their club getting worse week in week out. They are also angry that the ones that sold the, out are still acting as directors when many arent, this was brought up in the latest shareholders meeting.
