I think most people realise that when NW came in we were down sh*t creek with no boat. He signed 4 frees 2 on over a 3 month contract and 2 absolute gambles. SB & JH are the 2 thought out signings and I think most people would say they've made us better. If NW had offered the other 2 long term contacts then I would be the fist to criticize but you need to look at the bigger picture. I really can't see how anyone can look at how we were playing, where we were in the league and our transfer buisness over the last 3 years and criticize NW. Even a 50/50 split on good signings is still a huge improvement on our previous managers and he hardly had a big pool to pick from... They were all frees!!

I'm sorry but I really don't understand this big love-in with Warnock. He hasn't proved anything yet. At the moment we are sitting just off the bottom three and with some very tough fixtures over Christmas we could be back in the relegation zone.

We need to see what happens in January, but lets be honest to date he hasn't made any significant impact. To me he just seems to be very outspoken but has delivered little. He can talk the talk but now he needs to walk the walk.

If Slade or Trollope had bought in Richardson or Chamakh they would have been slaughtered for not playing them and wasting resources. For Warnock to say he wasn't aware of Huws or Declan is quite outrageous.

Also our tactics at times have been woeful. Wigan, first half against Wolves (we would have been beaten against a better team) and the mistakes against Barnsley. Again, if this had been Slade he would have been ripped apart.

I think we need to judge Warnock on current performance (to be fair following the January window) not on former successes.

Neither Richardson or Chamakh would have come cheap, trust me when I say we would have had to make it worth their while to come down here even on short term deals.

I reckon they would both be on 20k a week not even taking into consideration a reported signing on fee for Chamakh and agent fee's etc.

Got to have have squandered £750,000 to a £1,000,000 on this pair which could have been spent in January. Getting them off the wage bill is nothing to be proud of, it just brings us back to where we were when he started minus a load of cash.

I didn't see anyone on here complain when we took them, at the time we were right in the shit and we needed players to change things quickly.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, Warnock made changes some worked, those two players let him and themselves down, they should have the ability to walk into our team, but they didn't and Warnock is quick and honest and getting rid, I don't see it as a problem, just sensible football Management.
