Peltier is a good right back, but struggles at left back and Connolly is a centre half, not right back.

Bennett is the best left back at the club, so should start there

Zohore impressive

Zohore has looked sharp so far, and his ability to bring the ball down from Murphy’s thundering goal kicks is helping City launch some attacks






There’s, er, not a lot of composure on show so far. Murphy is in the game, making two smart stops. Routine stuff but will settle him down




Murphy into action

Murphy called into action for the first time and he parries the ball away from a Sawyers shot - a decent save, and Bennett clears it for a corner.

The ball comes in from the corner and it’s cleared again by Cardiff

Cardiff break from the corner but Field and Yennaris hold up Zohore allowing Colin to get back in to clear the cross (0-0)

Hogan is nearly in as Sawyers bends a pass around two defenders but Murphy is off his line smartly to gather (0-0)
