And you can't say any manager would with money as Ole failed,Leicester,Derby,Forest all originally failed with big money.

My personal take on it is there is a big difference between being a racist and being politically correct.

From the evidence that Kimbo signed for Malky again, FC spoke in defence of him and he had Caulker as his captain says that he was inherently not racist.

From the comments he apparently made in private texts he was not a particularly PC guy behind closed doors.

What people say in jest whether right or wrong is not as important as the actions they take.

Malky made two big mistakes in my mind - one was signing Cornelius on what was quite frankly a ridiculous deal. The other was playing negative football for the draw away at our relegation rivals at the time (Norwich, Stoke, Palace etc)

No one knows if he would have kept up but with the money he spent we should never have been in a relegation battle in the first place.

I wish him well, but also don't think he was the messiah - Dave Jones was a far better manager in my opinion and Warnock is better than both of them combined.

Excellent post. the guy was a major part in destroying our club. Yet a lot of these self proclaimed super fans value him more highly than our club.

I am no Malky fan, but I don't think he should be hounded for all eternity because of a few stupid remarks he made a couple of years back. A mate said to me not long back that if I could show him a person who has never said something that at least one person could interpret as being racist or sexist, he would show me a liar. He is probably not far out with that, and I have certainly cracked a joke or two that some women would take exception with.

yes i do remember. it was Malky that was reluctant. the texts came out during the investigation into corupt transfer dealings mate. had the club had those texts when you say all that will he or wont he get sacked. the anfield demo.the email to MM asking him to resign and MMs attempt to screw us for 7mill just wouldnt have happened..racist txts = fair dismissal

It took him this long to get a job and it has nothing to do with Tan, a lot of people in the game have seen the side Tan saw of MM but people will choose to ignore it. People say Tan ruined his career or destroyed it, he didn't he sacked him from a job and that was that, he had loads of opportunities to get jobs but never got taken on? Why is that?
