I just can't see why you always feel the need to post about whitts?? He's close to 500 games and nearly 90 goals legend. And you need to post comments like he ruined his performance over losing possession and conceding a goal.?? Are you just lonely and use this as company? Pm me if you need to talk

No doubt it will surprise the boards "Whitts Haters" that when you compare the tackling statistics of our 3 main central midfielders then Whitts is far from being "Inept" in this facet of his game.

So far this season Whitts has attempted 30 tackles and been successful in 21 of them - a 70% success rate. Jos Ralls has attempted 41 tackles and succeeded in 25 of them - a 61% success rate. Arun Gunnarsonn has attempted 38 tackles and succeeded in 20 of them - 53% success rate.

The best midfielder in the squad at tackling is Stuart O'keefe who has attempted 11 tackles and succeeded in 8 of them - 72% success rate.

It beggars belief that anyone could describe Whitts as an "Inept" tackler when you see statistics like that.

I'm sure Whitts assists from corner and free kicks are far, far above average. They've been our main source of goals for nigh on 3 seasons ffs.

what i find strange is his {Peter Whittingham } time at the club has coincided with our 7 highest league positions during the last 45 years, we must have had some red hot players to compensate for having to carry him....

spot on . i think they should take turns so that we can judge who is the best corner/freekick/penalty taker{ phone vote}. its pretty obvious he has bullied 6 managers and about a hundred team mates into allowing him this monopoly.time it ended?

I think you may have hit the nail on the head with this.
Such a negative poster and it's no wonder he's labelled the fool as he just can't see it. Somebody who can debate can see both sides of things. This person just hates for the sake of it.
All our managers have been wrong perhaps and the forum fool is right?
