Wales is a country/nationnbut not recognised as a sovereign state.
Wales is not principality as the 'prince of Wales' has no administrative power and this has been the case since 1542.

Stronger together.
We have lost a family member in the British army from the royal Welsh so as for respecting the armed forces past and present they have my full respect in 2 world wars especially.
Although I have to say the British have been a cruel brutal force in the empire days that must be said but without GB the world would be a worse place.
I don't really get the whole "Welsh and proud British" thing. Wales has NO recognition on the Union Jack and I don't feel united in any way.

You could well be right, that's more of a philosophical argument but has a lot of merit.

But if you want to be part of England or UK mate then you crack on. Because it can very easily be argued that Wales is a constituent country. Like Greenland for example.
What Wales is not however is a principality and this is true since 1542.

I certainly don't want to be part of England, but I'm part of the UK whether I like it or not. Greenland is a part of Denmark.

I take it your another bitter remoaner who can't accept they lost the referendum? You now feel the urge to take cheap pot shots against those who did vote to leave?
FYI information my main reason for my wanting to leave the EU was I considered it undemocratic and dictatorial. The unelected European Commission held the real power as the 'elected' EU Parliament was simply a talking shop with no legislative powers. Also we saw a number of referendum around Europe, most notably in Ireland where any rejection of EU policy was followed by further referendums until the EU got what it wanted. That is not democracy in action that is a dictatorship.
The most disturbing thing since the referendum has been the calls for a second referendum and the pathetic name calling and undermining of those who did vote out. Your reply is a classic example of an arrogant group who simply can’t take losing.
