Gareth I believe if we get beaten at Burton, Trollope will be sacked in the International break, but Lennie Lawrence will take his place, another cheap option as Lennie was semi-retired.

Either I see that happening Annis or they may just go with James Rowberry.

But I do believe if we lose Saturday Trollope will be sacked.

And James Rowberry manager? Surely not! Nothing against the guy but it was only few years ago he took me on a coaching course in the gwent area, while he was Newport youth coach. Certainly no credentials for this level yet. Trollope Rowberry or Lawrence? ?? :?

He was my coach when I was in newports academy and while he was a good coach and is apparently as qualified as Pep Guardiola he didn't seem to have the authority to be the main man and manager

Thats correct, some are just meant to be coaches, not managers :thumbright:

I think he needs someone over him telling him what to do

I don't see why we bring in cheap managerial appointments when we're still signing players on medium to high wages.

For example, Paul Trollope

Appointing James Rowberry in my opinion would eclipse the embarrassment of our inbred neighbours down west when they appointed Kevin Cullis.

Christ, surely we can tempt someone with a bit of pedigree?

We are almost in the territory of needing a quick fix on the managerial front.
The players are there to work with. There's enough average quality there to survive the division with a half reasonable manager.
I am getting so desperate the Holloway option is beginning to look attractive - and he is a complete buffoon.

When will City get a decent manager?

Every appointment since MM has just :digging2:
