I'm sorry if my words upset people but in the main I stick by what I said earlier. I've been a season ticket holder since 1981 so like most I've endured the likes of clemo dewey Kumar Wright hamman ridsdale and now tan. I do a 100 mile round trip to games when I have premier football on my doorstep. I can honestly say it's never crossed my mind to give up on my team. I think people are hurting because tbeyve come used to bring comfortable in the championship. Even if we go down this year and I still doubt we will were in a better situation debt wise than for many years. If you want to give up this partof your life I can't stop you but ifcas you say you've been a supporter through all the other bad times why is this one proving worse?

You make a good point, mate and I agree that we have both seen some garbage on and off the field in our time.
I think football isn't exciting me like it used to (CCFC, premier and champs league), its probably my age along with the fact that a couple of grandchildren have come along in the last 2 years and maybe my priorities are taking an about turn.
Its been a difficult week for me as I lost a good friend (work colleague) and attended the funeral on Thursday and I felt lower than low before the footy.
Ive been thinking of what ive posted for the past 24 hours or so and I will continue to support City as I have done. I enjoy the company of the mate I go with as well as other fellow fans I meet at the ground. I'm not ready to kick the habit just yet

If it wasn't for my support of Cardiff, I don't think I would watch football at all. I have a full Sky Sports package but so far this season, I haven't watched one game fully and a lot of the time I don't even put it on. I watched about a half hour of Liverpool v Chelsea but then found something else to watch. I can't remember the last time Iwatched MOTD all the way through. I enjoy going to the City with my 15 year old son but some days, I could quite easily stay at home but my season ticket makes me get off my arse and go in. Also,it makes my son get off his computer for a couple of hours and sometimes all day, when we go to some away games. I was hoping my passion would be rekindled after Wales success in the Euros but generally I think I could take or leave watching football which, if you said that I'd feel this way only 5 years ago,I would have looked at you stupidly. By the way, I'm 56, so it may be an age thing.

Bluebirddoc sorry to hear of your recent loss at times like this football is irrelevant. Glad to hear your having second thoughts the numbers of true fans are falling need as many as we can get at present but I do believe we have a brighter future than some are anticipating on this board.

Laugh out loud.its sour grapes because Cardiff are dismal.football attendances are at a record high more money in the game than ever but as throughout historyCardiff do what they are famous for fail .

I'm 54 next month so it could be an age thing.

It's not just an age thing, I'm only 26 and I hardly ever watch the prem any more. There's no bite and derby's completely are watered down.

I'm not. I still enjoy going to watch the City.

First game in 1967. Some you win, some you lose!
