Deepdale is one of them grounds we never seem to do well at.
Theyve given us a few kickings away in recent years.

Fair play to you bumping your own thread and laughing it off Wez. :thumbright:

looks like my optimism or blind faith got the better of me

I said it was a bold statement! Don't remember us winning three in a row for a while but I thought we'd get a win tonight.

I honestly think we will bear Leeds on Saturday the players after tonight will get a roasting in training the rest of the week

I predicted 6 out of the 9 so I'm still on track but I just can't see it now wez.

I think some people get taken in by the spin from those running the club. I have said from day 1 that promotion is not on the agenda, despite what you may hear from those at the top. A new manager, a new formation and a striker coming to the end of his career and with 3 goals in about 45 games was never going to take us into the play offs. Right now, we have nowhere near enough quality to remotely threaten the better sides in this division. I am confident that there are enough teams who are worse than us to ensure we are still playing championship football next season, and a good win on Saturday will be good for confidence. I think some fans have set their expectations way too high.

I'm fairly confident that sometime this season we will go on a run and get one consecutive win.

Wez, your optimism was admirable to be fair.

The 3 games Preston (a), Leeds (h) and Rotherham (a) were games we should have been looking at a minimum of 4 points and that would have been bad.

We are going to come away with less than that, possibly nothing, which is worrying. I have said before we are in for a scrap this season and are NOT to good to go down, Ricky Lambert was an awful signing made out of pure desperation which I have also said and I stand by that aswel, £32,000 a week and an undisclosed fer for a 34 year old who hasn't scored in open play for over 41 games is criminal.

The Club is rotten to the core and I fear it is only going to get worse.
