yes def need 2 as there is no loan window this year

Could be a busy/frantic Deadline Day, as every club will be desperate to sign players. As you say, come 11pm Wednesday, every club/manager must go with what they've got!
I like that idea in the main; even if our own club aren't smart enough to go benefit!

Championship side Wigan Athletic have agreed a deal to sign Cardiff City striker Adam Le Fondre on loan, according to HITC.
The 29-year-old has been offered out by manager Paul Trollope this summer and spent pre-season training with the under-23 team, and was linked with a number of Championship sides.
After an unsuccessful loan spell with Wolves last season he looks set for a deadline day move to newly promoted Wigan Athletic on loan, as they look to sure up their striking options.
Le Fondre joined Cardiff in a £2.5 million deal from Reading in 2014 as a prolific Championship striker, having scored 15 goals in the second tier the season before.
He was Reading’s star in the Premier League with his 11 goals extremely useful in their fight to stay in the top flight and in their many comebacks across the season.
He’ll be hoping to reignite his career with Wigan and prove he is still a fine striker.

Proves what a shambles the organisation at Cardiff City are. Why is this only being done now?! The same with Dikagcoi and Macheda only being gone recently?!
They've had two months to get all their transfers in and out and now are in panic mode.

Who do you think wanted to recruit Macheda, Dikagchoi and Le Fondre, given that they've all been failures for us and on ridiculous money for a championship outfit?
It was quite obvious that the club would want to get rid of them as soon as possible to free up funds, but that other clubs would want to wait until the last minute, to get the best deal they could!
Yes, it was our club's fault that these players have been paid a ridiculous amount of money in the first place and appear to have been recruited without any reduced income clause in their contracts should we get relegated, but our club have done their best here, to try and maximize income and reduce our wage bill!

All 3 were recruited after we were relegated which only emphasises how ridiculous the wages we gave them were. The club has made many mistakes in the past 3 or 4 years but by far the most catastrophic was to allow Ole to go on a spending spree AFTER we were relegated. We are paying a massive price for that now.

They waited till almost the last minute , in the hope some other mugs would come in for them. It looks like ALF is gone ,with us paying about £15k a week towards it.
With KG and Machada being paid about £600k each , to leave .
So in total its cost the club (Tan) not far short of £2 million to get rid of them.
I'm not too confident of any more coming in ( hope I'm wrong ) we'll see by the end of today .

With the departure of Le Fondre we have no real strikers of any quality on our books,a real scary reality for us all to digest

And if we ending up having Pilkington as first choice we are seriously fucked.

Cardiff City striker Adam Le Fondre is joining Championship rivals Wigan Athletic.

Cardiff City Football Club can confirm that Adam Le Fondre has completed a season-long loan deal to Wigan Athletic, subject to international clearance.
As part of this loan agreement, Adam is ineligible to play against Cardiff City Football Club while with the Latics.
We’d like to wish Adam luck while at the DW Stadium.

He obviously doesn't read this message board.

Bit more from Le Fondre
It’s probably no surprise that I have left Cardiff because they told me I was able to leave so it’s good to get the move.
This move is going to give me a platform to perform again and consistently play football. There is a lot of hard work in front of me and a lot of goals to score, but that’s what I am here to do.
The manager and the chairman have grand plans for the club, it’s still a big calling and it’s something for me to really sink my teeth into and get going in.

70% of 25000 is 17500. If you take 17500 away from 25000 you get 7500.
Therefore we are paying £7,500pw not £15,000 and the deal represents a saving of £17,500pw to Cardiff City.
