Neither did I say the Club Shop had done anything wrong in the eyes of the law.
My point is, and seems to have been completely missed by you is that we are talking about a 'gesture' here which in the grand scheme of things would have cost the Club peanuts in comparison and would have been a positive in a time of negativity surrounding the Club.
Unfortunately, as is the case in Football these days, you are looking at it purely from a business angle and are not seeing the bigger picture, which of course is your prerogative.
Personally, if I was running a Football Club, as a gesture of goodwill I would have replaced the shirt for the little girl.
Your opinion obviously differs to mine so we will have to agree to disagree
